I was wondering today about a few old posters that either left or I haven’t seen in ages
Riven , eatshitderek (i think that’s what the username was) and another one I can’t remember the full name ghost something who was in temp accommodation I think ?
Does anyone else ever wonder about posters they dont see anymore

I was waiting for SS to come up! That was the first thread I ever read on Mumsnet I think. It was absolutely mad! I was hooked.

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 15/06/2020 00:15

I don't care if it was all made up I wish Beesimo would come back and fascinate us all with her stories again.

PrincessFiorimonde · 15/06/2020 00:17

LunaticFringe, I am so sorry you lost your daughter and that SS did that to you Flowers

YearOfTheCrone · 15/06/2020 00:18

Who was the poster who had the decorators round and got stuck in her bedroom and had to have a poo in a pot, shoved it under her bed and the decorators found it.

Or something like that anyway.

DeborahAlisonphillipa · 15/06/2020 00:23

@londonjam same age as me, ttc around same time as me, seemed nice and cool but was really sad about not conceiving. I hope she got the baby she wanted so much.

CheerfulYank · 15/06/2020 00:25

Lunatic I'm so sorry. It's unfair that you lost your DD and unfair that your space to speak out her was taken 💔

I had a PM from Beesimo's lass, I think! What madness

LunaticFringe · 15/06/2020 00:28

Thank you Princess. Not all trolls are harmless fun. She also upset Shabba who did sterling work for bereaved parents.
The worst bit was when her explanation to me was "Oh no, I forgot about

7Days · 15/06/2020 00:30

Wow, great to see you LRD!
You won't know me but when I was a newbie paddling on feminist shores yours was always a name to watch out for.

ThePawtriarchy · 15/06/2020 00:42

Are we allowed to mention Mitmoo now? That used to guarantee a deletion I think? A bit like she who must not be named - the author of baby routines.

Who was the poster who posted a picture of her bedroom and somebody reverse image searched it and it was a hotel?

BitOfFun · 15/06/2020 00:48

That was Crumbs, I believe.

giggly · 15/06/2020 00:54

Giraffes who I always suspected either owned or worked in my dd nursery in the West End. Mrs Badger was also good for fashion advice

7Days · 15/06/2020 00:56

BOF good to see you girl.

IHaveBrilloHair · 15/06/2020 00:57

Who was the poster who worked in a Chinese takeaway and had an awful husband?
She had two daughters and couldn't leave her husband because of her pets?
There was a bonkers story about purple outfits that her parents had bought them to wear for a disco?

Iggi999 · 15/06/2020 01:02

BOF glad to see you on here my dear, by rights we should all associate you with good advice and kindness, as you give these things in spades, but you know it's the pooey pouffe that is first to come to mind! Grin

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 15/06/2020 01:03

Oh, Brillo who was that?

I remember being on a thread when I was pregnant with DS2 so 8 years ago?

It was Christmas eve and she was getting a lot of support from some posters but also a really hard time from others.

I hope she's alright.

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 15/06/2020 01:04

It was DoinMyCleaning or something, right?

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 15/06/2020 01:07

7 years, sorry.

Rubybluesy · 15/06/2020 01:16

Anyfucker?
And a long time ago there was WhenwillIFeelNormal

BitOfFun · 15/06/2020 01:26

Iggi- she's a grown adult now, and living in a lovely supported house. It's amazing how the time has flown!

Remember when people used to wave? Grin

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 15/06/2020 01:32

People think waving is clique-y now.

TheFormidableMrsC · 15/06/2020 01:34

@derxa I'm still here! Still dealing with shitty ex husband, still in and out of court with him in terms of our DS and also dealing with breast cancer (fortunately expected to make a full recovery, am in the middle of active treatment post surgery). Thank you for thinking of me!

BitOfFun · 15/06/2020 01:39

Jeez, that's a lot on your plate, MrsC- wishing you the best for everything.

TheFormidableMrsC · 15/06/2020 01:42

@SunshineCake I chatted often with Somerville too. I thought of her recently and thought I'd get in touch only to read here that her child may be ill. After all she'd been through it made me really sad. We had a weird connection because of my ex-h's OW and she was such a wonderful source of support. I hope she's OK 🙁

ItsInTheShed · 15/06/2020 01:43

box room .....what happened there.....she posted relentlessly about her stepdaughter

TheFormidableMrsC · 15/06/2020 01:44

@BitOfFun I'm so sorry to read your news. You were so kind to me on my threads when I was going through such turmoil. Sending you all good wishes Thanks
