I was wondering today about a few old posters that either left or I haven’t seen in ages
Riven , eatshitderek (i think that’s what the username was) and another one I can’t remember the full name ghost something who was in temp accommodation I think ?
Does anyone else ever wonder about posters they dont see anymore

@NoseHair

"Do you not think posters communicate away from MN?"

Yes and I'm sure they are equally gullible outside of mumsnet too :)

Hmm
Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2020 20:19

@IHaveBrilloHair

Exactly Sparklingbrook I was on her FB/Insta during it all. We've been friends for years.
Exactly! But that doesn't suit the posters saying it was all cobblers. They can't stand it. Grin

Averagegaylad - or something along that line. Believe something happened and he left or was banned but cant remember exactly.

Was that the one with all the MN Aunties?
Trumpton · 14/06/2020 20:23

@Yumsnet

Was Vicar a midwife/a nurse?

She was/is in the police .

Sparklingbrook · 14/06/2020 20:23

I remember a pervy male poster with Victorian in the name. He was awful.

dementedma · 14/06/2020 20:27

Rockandgrohl · 14/06/2020 20:34

I think about a poster called sycamoretrees I think it was...her OH had an affair while she was pregnant and she was so so strong and amazing at the time. It wasnt long after I joined here and it really stuck in my mind.

Bloodybridget · 14/06/2020 20:36

@SunshineCake thank you for the update on cupoftea.

Tenementfunster · 14/06/2020 20:37

I remember TLES! When I first joined there was a troll ? who was hauled over the coals for posting a picture of her daughter with long plaits who turned out to be a doll. I did think WTF is this place Grin

CompleteBarstool · 14/06/2020 20:38

The mum of Maude.

occa · 14/06/2020 20:39

I wonder what it'd be like to time hop back a decade or so and have a day of MN as it was then?

Would it be brilliant or would we cringe? Can't decide if it really was fab then or if it's the old rose tinted glasses of nostalgia.

There are lots of names I'd love to see again for sure.

Tenementfunster · 14/06/2020 20:39

Devil Wears Primark.

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/06/2020 20:40

OMG, TLES.
She was batshit, and not even a troll.
I'd forgotten all about her.

Ernieshere · 14/06/2020 20:40

The first thread I ever read was about someones DH doing a 'T.Rex' in Asda.

Was it Sharon, what happened to her walls?

I remember someone threw something on her kitchen wall?

Shock

I read bravebabes every now and then. The poster I most think about is MissHoolie - I met her briefly once. I hope with all my heart that she is ok.

wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 14/06/2020 20:41

LittleJennyWren who was very young and terminally ill

Twinkle who conned money from posters offline

Rollergirl11 · 14/06/2020 20:44

What does TLES stand for again?

Tenementfunster · 14/06/2020 20:47

A bit tragic in hindsight but I remember the ‘raids’ on netMums.

Tenementfunster · 14/06/2020 20:48

I know she was a bad un but by god lequeen provided me with hours of entertainment

KaronAVyrus · 14/06/2020 20:48
