Help me find this actor. Apologies for the obscurity.

Pkay so I am currently reading a book and one of the characters is in my head played by an actor I have seen in things but cannot for the life if me think what Injave actually seen him in.

He looks a bit like John Shea or William Defoe, but he is English and had dark curly ish hair.

Please help me. It's been driving me mad for days. I have finished the book and I still cant get it out of my head.

@wasnotwasweregood I think that had already been done to Toby Stephens for that pic of him as Rochester (dark like to OP’s mystery these). This him in his natural glory!

I am ashamed that almost the only one I could immediately picture from the name alone, out of all of these suggestions, was Nigel from Eastenders

Paul Ready is a brilliant actor. I saw him in The Death of Stalin and didn't recognise him from Motherland.
