Help me find this actor. Apologies for the obscurity.

Pkay so I am currently reading a book and one of the characters is in my head played by an actor I have seen in things but cannot for the life if me think what Injave actually seen him in.

He looks a bit like John Shea or William Defoe, but he is English and had dark curly ish hair.

Please help me. It's been driving me mad for days. I have finished the book and I still cant get it out of my head.

He isnt a massive actor. Think more ITV drama than big blockbuster.

The more I think about his face the harder it is to see him, like a dream.

And he is older than some of these, definitely 40s.

Marc Warren? He's not dark though.

Nathanial Parker? He was in an ITV detective series.

Have no idea who OP might be thinking of, but DAMN Rufus Sewell is beautiful. Astonishes me every time I see a picture of him.
