Tonight it's like all the pressure of the lockdown has blown open! The People reporting white vans are back, but the most exciting thing is the fact a lamb is stuck in the canal. We're talking full on 'ive got mobile lights im going there now' and rallying around to get the sheep out of the canal, but no one knows where it is.

Right now ours is a hive of activity as there's been a helicopter hovering over the river we border since about 2:30am. It's very noisy so loads of people are up. It seems it's a search and rescue thing and there are police officers everywhere too

Well seems the numpties are out again at the Recycling point. Only printable name I can use, as anyone who thinks garden waste and wooden cabinets go in the cans and plastic bins is beyond belief.
What a shame as everything in those bins will now end up going to landfill. Shameful.

They are very cute, DS did a petting thing for a bithday at a local zoo and the skunk arrived on a lead trotting alongside its keeper! That said I wouldn't want one as a pet, as the keeper said they can sometimes smell them when they arrive in the carpark in the morning (a mile from the skunks enclosure!!)

Travellers and the fact the council can't apparently do anything because of the covid anti eviction rules plus that the mess that they leave at the beauty spot is even worse than than the picnicers left last weekend.

Plus McDonalds and the fact that the local MP voted for the change to food standards. We appear to have a left wing community (except where travellers are concerned) who voted 63% in favour of a Conservative government

Someone left a McDonalds bag in a lane leading into our village. Full on witch hunt going on right now. People tagging McDonalds and demanding that they put the car registration on all drive thru bags so perpetrators can be found.

Our village is not really a McDonalds kind of place (a fact that is depressingly represented in house prices)

Ours seems to be full of people trying to get parcels that have been delivered elsewhere, or trying to reunited parcels with the correct owner. We must have a lot of incompetent couriers in our area.

Macdonalds and rubbish are also hot topics. And people who are spending time at home and realising their windows are filthy because there are lots of requests for windows cleaners.

Photos from doorbell cameras - who was this weird looking man knocking on doors in our close today? Cue lots of comments about dognappers in the area.
Photos naming and shaming teens who broke the cordon to get in the playground and hang out - cue argument “that’s my kid” “it’s illegal to photograph a child and put it on social media””they’re not doing any harm, it’s hard for the kids” etc etc about a month ago people would have been apoplectic with rage that they weren’t all social distancing at home rather than leaving their covid super spreading fingerprints on the play equipment.
Temporary traffic lights are back with a vengeance- they are not working properly I had to queue for 20 minutes. will people stop jumping through when the lights turn red.

Macdonalds opening and the morons queuing for two hours causing gridlock and the perfect parents still criticising the McCanns !!

Some idiot moaning the grass in town is looking messy and overgrown, posting pictures and blaming the council. Thankfully most people are giving him a bit of a reality check and appreciating that cutting the grass is the least of our councils worries at the moment.

Kids hanging out ie all the teenagers in said small town MUST be engaging in anti social behaviour and smoking drugs and they are intimidating all the poor old folks.

I know somebody who did that at her wedding! She had a picture of her in her wedding dress cuddling it.

Oh and I got removed from the group because I dared to say that the admins on the other pages were nice.
I said this on the other page and apparently the admins were all offended.
