It was really slated, but we liked Peppermint. It stars Jennifer Garner as a woman whose husband and son are murdered, She goes on to revenge their death.

Unbelievable - 8 episodes on netflix. Not 1 but 2 fantastic female detectives investigating a serial rapist. Also excellent female supporting cast.

Also Misbehaviour is well worth seeing - true story about the women who sabotaged the Miss World contest in the 1970s. It's got Keira Knightly in the central role.
