Hi everyone
Just for fun. I can't sleep and I always loves these types of threads.
I love seeing other people's engagement rings/wedding rings, and if there is a story behind the ring!
Here's mine... it's an antique diamond belonging to DH grandmother, he didn't like the original setting so redesigned it, and this is the end result! I love it.
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's!

Mine, no wedding ring yet but it's only been 26 years

Mine is aquamarine and 4 tiny diamonds. DH chose it, but checked with me first before buying it 😆. I love it, it reminds me of the sea, which is what brought us together.

Also made in the Jewellery Quarter. Going to find a ring together was one of my favourite ever days. I didn’t want a surprise proposal and he had no clue what ring to get so it suited us both to go and chose together.

As soon as I said I wanted a pear shaped halo and sent him some examples he said he couldn’t imagine anything more me and I’ve never seen another ring like it.

This is mine also made in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter where we lived at the time it’s a simple princess cut diamond in platinum with a platinum wedding band. We’ve got a milestone anniversary next year so I’m hoping to go back for an eternity ring.

Old mine cushion cut diamond in platinum, I chose it, love love love it.

Sapphire surrounded by diamonds! It belonged to my fiances grandmother and has a lot of history behined it. I cried like a baby when he opened the box and proposed!

Love seeing everyone’s rings! Here’s mine with my wedding ring. DH chose it himself after sneakily asking for hints in the months leading up to the proposal. We got engaged in Rome and he had carried it around with him for six days looking for the perfect spot. When I look back at photos I can see a ring shaped box in his pocket. How I didn’t notice at the time I have no idea!

These threads always make me jealous of people's lovely hands and long fingers. I love looking at the rings, I always notice them on other people.

Mine came from a secondhand 'retro' shop. I thought I knew what I wanted for a ring but when I tried them on, I hated them. Then I saw this one and it was love at first sight. It has a very thin band with fiery diamonds which really glitter in the light. Love it.

I am jealous! Never had an engagement ring and no wedding ring either! Been married 33 years

I found a very similar design on an American website, chose the diamond myself (after weeks of research) and we had it, and my wedding ring made.
I love it.

After 31 years still wearing well.

Finally got round to adding mine, now the weather's cooler and my fat fingers have reduced! DP chose it himself. I was so worried about what he'd choose but I love it. Can't wait to have a wedding band alongside it!

I saved this thread because DP proposed two months ago but my ring is only just here and I'm SO happy and excited to be able to join in 😍.

@roarfeckingroar gorgeous! Is it from Brilliant Earth by any chance. The style is the same as mine except mine is rose gold with pink sapphires and a princess cut.
