Hi everyone
Just for fun. I can't sleep and I always loves these types of threads.
I love seeing other people's engagement rings/wedding rings, and if there is a story behind the ring!
Here's mine... it's an antique diamond belonging to DH grandmother, he didn't like the original setting so redesigned it, and this is the end result! I love it.
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's!

I don't know where mine is after I removed it due to skin becoming cracked due to hand washing :( Standard solitaire and then a tanzanite eternity ring :)

DH picked my engagement ring and designed my wedding ring (diamond and sapphires) we had navy blues at our wedding and I wanted something a bit unusual. Love my rings so much

I've always wanted to contribute to a thread like this and now I can 😁 DP had my engagement ring custom made after I told him the only thing I really wanted was an emerald, and he couldn't find anything quite right.

Still feels a bit weird to wear but it's been a long time coming and I absolutely love it!

Here is mine. And can I also include my new ring, a stacking set incorporating my children's birthstones. Gosh my hands look wrinkly! Love a ring thread!

My husband chose it and I love it. Wedding ring is tiny so as not to detract from its beauty, but it’s so small that I regularly get asked when ‘the big day’ is, and I say ‘em..14 years ago’ 😄

Love my ring. DH picked it himself. I’d mentioned years before that I liked rings with a coloured stone in the middle with diamonds on the outside and he remembered.

Here is mine! Absolutely obsessed with it, but trying to find a matching wedding ring isn't easy.

Here is mine, I LOVE it! No real story behind it but it's perfectly me. It was one I'd picked out when playing the 'will he propose, what kind of ring would I like' game (sad I know) so I nearly fell over when I saw it

It was meant to be joined by a companion in a couple of weeks but the wedding has been postponed, so it will be going solo for a while yet

Here's mine, with the matching wedding band I fell in love with on the day we bought the engagement ring.

Oompa and flix, those are gorgeous. I have no idea where my engagement ring is. Lost in the mists of time. Got it 35 years ago. Mind you, I also have no idea where my wedding ring is....

I picked my own engagement ring. Poor DP, he usually knows me and what I like pretty well, but he just couldn't seem to figure that out. Got engaged 5 years ago, still not plans to actually get married.

@mumofbeagles that is a gorgeous diamond. Can I ask about the setting as it looks as though two of the claws are on one ring, and the other two claws on the other ring? Could just be the angle of the photo.
