I mean since we have been allowed to.

Did you enjoy it? Would you go again?

@FiveGoMadinDorset - what were we saying? Let's hope those who were injured are OK and none of those down on the beach today were COVID positive. What a nightmare.

I'm pretty live & let live, but even I don't get people heading straight for places like Durdle Door? I don't know that area at all, but I'm presuming there must be much quieter less famous / scenic beaches within fairly easy reach? The beach we go to regularly is in the arse end of nowhere, with precisely one local resident...the farmer who owns the land & is cheerfully making a mint charging for parking Grin.

yes but we live on coast. Not been busy. Less busy than average weekday and quieter at weekends. A relief!

Yes yesterday. I love the coast so we drove 30 minutes last night to Northumberland coast. It was lovely and quiet with a few walkers and a couple of horse riders. I think it may have been busy through the day but we are both working so evening visits are the only time we can go but when the weathers good it’s so nice.

I miss the sea so much. We're Scotland and we can only travel 5 miles for such things. I live 24 miles from the beach. 😥

We’ve been a few times during this week, although wouldn’t do visit during a sunny weekend. We’re reasonably local (ten minutes drive), it’s really quiet so nobody within 50 metres at the closest. We wouldn’t have got out of the car if there had been people milling about, we haven’t got a garden or any outside space to sit in and this week has been the first time I’ve been outside the front door for weeks.

It made us incredibly happy.
