Morning all, well the cafe thread is just about full so here's the new thread.

Just a reminder Florence has made pastries over night, the garden is open with the sensory garden, the cat area (with catnip bush) is available and feel free to cool your feet int the water feature.

Early start today due to a 4am phone call from a friend who had lost his keys so couldn't get into his own home.

Oh crumbs is he sorted now @sashh?

Oh gosh @sashh I hope he got sorted! Do you need to head back to bed, we can sort the cafe?
If you're staying up you'll need a coffee anyway. Any preference?

Drinking coffee now.

He got here, went to bed, I decided to search his jacket (he was OK with that) the keys are in the lining of his jacket but I can't find a hole in his pocket.

IRL I'm having breakfast delivered.

In here, help yourselves guys, I'm taking coffee into the garden, I hope there are some visiting cats.

You can tell the weather has changed here-morning wash in the wardrobe instead of on the bbq outside!

Well the plot thickens.

He woke up for breakfast and said he remembered something about the police. The friend he was with came round to help us eat breakfast (we'd started drinking together but I always bail before they do) and apparently the police had taken her to a cash point to get money and then helped her into a cab.

We're packing for our annual 2 week holiday to Pembrokeshire today

They both have a blackout for a few hours, they won't let me apply for CCTV footage!

They only know they were in one pub because they paid by card.

sashh just cancer all clear. Still have to monitor it.

I was so over excited I went on a happy weekend bender and excitedly showed around an investment client which is the estate agents job. By the time she showed up I had gone around everything and he was completely sold. He said yes.

That's great news @Frownette. It's horrible waiting for cancer test results.

The rain is holding off for now, but it's cooled down, so porridge is perfect.

We had a cracking thunderstorm yesterday afternoon.

Florence's German cousin is visiting so today we have a selection of German breads to go with boiled eggs and various hams and cheeses
