Be honest, would you change it? Pictured attached

It's my nose. I've always felt so uncomfortable by it. I'm unsure if it's a genuine unsightly nose, because let's be honest some of us do just have not so nice features, or if I'm a bit warped and it's fine.

I've read that noses have names but I've never seen one that matches mine. At all.

Would you change it? I'm very happy to receive negative criticism on my nose. I know myself that it isn't pretty Smile just wondering if you'd bother with surgery? I would have the cash to do it soon I hope

Noses are always what I notice, DH takes the piss because I point them out all the time (on tv etc, I don't point at people in public). However, this is not a bad nose! And no, I wouldn't change it

lilgreen · 19/05/2020 17:19

Now you share a photo of a beautiful young woman. Please stop obsessing, it’s so unhealthy.

conduitoffortune · 19/05/2020 17:20

If I showed you some pictures of my face in the weeks following my nose job they would be enough to put you off surgery (and your dinner). Then even after that it takes 2 years to heal fully. Then even after that the results aren't that different.

Runnerduck34 · 19/05/2020 17:20

There is absolutely nothing wrong with your nose, honestly it looks fine.

amusedbush · 19/05/2020 17:23

It's a lovely nose! You are very pretty and your nose suits your face. I wouldn't change a thing about your face.

I have a tiny button nose, which DH finds equal parts cute and hilarious. Shame about the size of my arse BlushGrin

RingaRosie · 19/05/2020 17:24

Faces are usually designed with features in proportion. You have a lovely wide smile / nice mouth & teeth. A different nose may not match.

FergusSingsTheBlues · 19/05/2020 17:31

You have a very young nose.

Ihaveamind · 19/05/2020 17:34

You are very pretty, please don't have surgery to change your nose.
I have worn braces and supported friends to have cosmetic/dental surgery when they needed it.
So I am not generally against it or anything but you don't need it and could spend money on so many more rewarding things.
Like travelling, or a masters or a car, or following your favourite band around the world for a year ☺️

ThisGirl I love your nose! So cute, and a lovely symmetrical smile to boot Smile

This is a great example of how people can become fixated on what they perceive as flaws, but to other people are beautiful.
And particularly to friends and family, your nose will be part of what to them is a dear and much-loved face.
Hopefully you would never think your loved ones could be 'improved' by cosmetic surgery? We need to grant ourselves as much love as we give to others. Be confident, love your nose, it deserves it!

oh my lord - what a cute nose! want to swap for mine ? I have nostrils like a horse.

Funnily enough my daughter, who is about as pretty as you (ie gorgeous!) , is equally horrified by her cute and perfectly lovely nose. She baffles me and her sister trying to tell us what is wrong with it. We actually don't know how to respond anymore as she obviously sees something in it that no-one else can. But then as PP have said - noses (or indeed any feature) are intrinsically odd if stared at for long enough and taken out of context.

Enjoy how cute you look OP!

Afonavon · 19/05/2020 18:11

I have a roman nose, and when I was a child my brother told me that I was lucky to have an interesting nose. He persuaded me that having a ‘perfect’ face was just so bland. He told me this at a crucial time for my self esteem and I completely accept that I have a big nose, and it isn’t in proportion with my face, but it isn’t important. I may just be old, but honestly, looks are such a tiny proportion of who you are.Just think, you future children (if you have them) will possibly inherit your nose, and you will love it on them and they will see you and love your face just as it is.

ursuslemonade · 19/05/2020 18:12

Look op your nose suits your face. Leave it alone.

Ihaventgottimeforthis · 19/05/2020 18:13

Don't forget that taking selfies can exaggerate nose proportions in relation to the rest of your face, sometimes increasing size by up to 30% - the camera does indeed lie.

Howzaboutye · 19/05/2020 18:16

Your nose is lovely. Your teeth are fantastic.
Spend the cash on a psychologist not surgery!

sixswans · 19/05/2020 18:16

your nose is perfectly normal and you have great teeth which I bet people notice!

Howzaboutye · 19/05/2020 18:17

And omg selfies definitely make ones nose look bigger! Do NOT make a decision from selfies!

Herja · 19/05/2020 18:18

I like your nose, it's wider at the bottom, but still just a nose and quite a good one too.

OP, you're a really good looking woman. You might not like your nose that much, but if you fuck about with it, you could ruin your whole face. It's beautiful as it is, so leave well alone.

GuiltyBark · 19/05/2020 18:18

A good selfie tip is to hold the camera at arms length and zoom in to get your shot, don't hold it close to your face. Your face will look a LOT different and I know my nose suddenly looks more in proportion! Give it a try!

joystir59 · 19/05/2020 18:20

That's a lovely nose

PaperMonster · 19/05/2020 18:28

I would love your nose!

ilikepurple · 19/05/2020 18:32

No not at all, it's a nice nose.

DragonMamma · 19/05/2020 18:33

I can’t be the only one that’s just studied their own nose before posting? Grin

It’s a completely normal nose OP. It wouldn’t even notice it if we met. It’s uneventful.

MerryDeath · 19/05/2020 18:36

no way. and i have had a nose job (for 8k!) and it's only now i see how noses, even my nose which was awful WAY more intrusive than yours.. just aren't something people notice. your nose is in no way in need of expensive and risky surgery. absolutely not at all.
