I live in a town that is thought of locally as quite scuzzy. The east of the town is very deprived, the west is all middle class professionals loving the low house prices for solid period properties.

Traditionally towns with Labour constituencies were more typically 'working class' but even most of them have gone Tory now. The likes of Burnley, Workington and Grimsby etc.

Theukisgreatt · 16/05/2020 18:39

Everywhere north of Norwich. Kent.

Settle59 · 16/05/2020 18:41

MadameMarie - Agreed - and any that at one point heavy industry - coal/steel/etc etc - and were dominated by said industry.
