What will you no longer spend money on post-lockdown?

I've had a bit of a wake up call, as i am lucky that my bank account is a lot healthier right now.

I normally work in London and fritter tonnes away on coffee, Pret lunches and random odd things from TK Maxx each week.

I'm shocked at what I've wasted.

Whenever / if ever we can go back, I'm definitely not buying lunch or coffee every day again.

Anyone else the same?,

Clothes here as well.

I have survived on rotation of a pair of jeans, two pairs of jeggings, (one pair are three quarter length), a pair if Skechers, a few t shirts, a cardigan, and a stretch-y dress that I can simply pull over my head. It was a dress I got from Asda for £8.
When this is over, I could just do with another cardigan, and maybe a jacket, and I’ll be happy.

Eating out. I can cook better at home.
Also using leftovers well, wasting less.

Clothes- I've reorganised my clothes completely and rediscovered so many. In only going to replace things now as required and only with good quality.

Not buying extra bits just because they were cheap or in front of me.

Absolutely the little spends.

@EinsteinaGogo - Honestly, it was fear what didi it Grin I'm not the best in the gym but I can squat, lunge and star jump for 20 mins. I've also been walking every day for 45mins. My DH has lost a stone in 4 weeks. He walks for 30 mins and has never been in a gym. We just have our wine and indulgent dinner on a Friday and not every other day. Sorry, it's not very exciting. But I love my jeans and I've been living in leggings since lockdown.
Def not going back to the gym and buying crap.

I feel a bit sorry for hairdressers. I’ll be there as soon as mine opens her doors

Me too! I've managed my fringe and taken a bit of weight out of the top - the length doesn't really matter but my highlights are growing out and my greys growing in.

Definitely meals out, used to eat out almost every Saturday and Sunday (mainly for something to do) so will be cutting that right down!

Starbucks - realises it's a total rip off and I don't need it

And they won't accept reusable cups anymore so we're back to wasteful disposable cups. Not that I like their coffee anyway. I'll stick with my own filter coffee.

Nothing. I love buying food to eat outside . Hate meal prep . Explains the weight.

Otherwise I was never a big spender

Turns out I will still be paying the dog groomer. Dog was very good and we didn’t do a bad job but my God, the hair is so itchy and it gets everywhere. Took forever to clean up and I’m still rubbing my nose.
