A horse’s breath when it comes in from grass. Although that’s feel as well. The soft muzzle as you take a deep breath. I’ve embarrassed myself with police horses at Badminton.

My favourites are generally new things (a brand new house with new carpet, paint, fresh wood, brand new bits of furniture, off gassing plastics everywhere (!) or old historic buildings (that slightly musty loft smell, old wood, antiques, leather, old books etc.) but two random smells I love are the smell that isn’t mint in a box of tic tacs- a sort of vanilla smell but not quite- and the smell of a new hot water bottle the first few times you fill it.
