What are your favourite smells?

I love the smell...
when you go outside after it has been raining
When you enter a house and there's a roast cooking
My children first thing in the morning when they wake up

Fresh bread, lavender, laundry dryed outside, fresh cut grass, the fresh smell after the rain and new baby smell.

DD’s hair, fresh cut grass, pine trees in the woods, bonfires, the smell of woodsmoke and coal fires and new carpet.

Newborn babies heads
Freshly cut grass
Freshly baked bread
Roast dinners cooking
Hot chocolate
Plimsolls! 🤣

The sea. Grass. Forests. The air just after hoofing rain. Washing off the line. Horses when you are nose to nose. My old dog’s fat little paws.

Bacon frying

Horses.
Cats.
Freshly mown grass.
Hay being baled.
Diesel or petrol.
Marker pens.
Foreign airports.

Anyone else old enough to remember when your teacher used to "just go out and copy these" and bring back freshly photocopied work ( usuallly purple ink) that smelled bloody amazing .

And the trains on the London Underground used to smell gorgeous when they wafted to the station..
