The British countryside in autumn.
Jet-A1 kerosene. The smell of work and holidays.

I hate the smell of flowers, roses are the worst. Awful smell.

Also, when I've been working a 12hr nursing home shift, there's nothing quite like the first lungful of fresh air at home time. Not that our place stinks, far from it, there's just something about it. Maybe it's more the smell of freedom 😂

36degrees · 10/05/2020 16:20

Rain on warm concrete
Fresh sawdust
Baking with cinnamon in it
Baking with apple and cinnamon in it
Miami Glow by J.Lo - reminds me of the best shower ever using the cheapest Duty Free toiletry set I could find, after a ridiculously delayed flight
Any 'ocean' or 'beach' type scented candle
The smell of our local library when I was younger - the deeply polished wood, the books, the dog-eared library cards
My cats' fur when they deign to tolerate a big soppy cuddle
