....who is looking after the children?

OP posts:
Hedgehog44 · 05/05/2020 10:36

They kept them up late on Sunday night so they slept late according to Joe's Instagram post.

zigaziga · 05/05/2020 10:37

If Joe is doing PE, who looks after the children?

Well, Rosie.

The point is that when Rosie is doing PE they’re both on screen, not that looking after the children is her / his job.

SoupDragon · 05/05/2020 10:39

I don't understand why Rosie is described as a teaching assistant. Is Joe a qualified teacher?

Because she is assisting Joe by being his stand in?

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 05/05/2020 10:43

Obviously they tie them up and put them in the cupboard and ignore their screams.

DishRanAwayWithTheSpoon · 05/05/2020 10:44

Rosie is assisting joe with his 'PE lesson'. Hence why shes a teaching assistant. I doubt he thought too much about it tbh, its a very minor joke

If the children have previously run on camera I doubt they have a nanny, otherwise they would always be
Kept out the way when hes doing his videos. They are probably just napping/watching TV/in a playpen

doodleygirl · 05/05/2020 10:46

You really think about this shit? You must be very very bored.

Flamingolingo · 05/05/2020 10:47

@KatyaZamolodchikova Imhotep is invisible!

Bagelsandbrie · 05/05/2020 10:49

He’s calling her his teaching assistant for a bit of fun. He’s the PE teacher and she’s his assistant. That’s it. I don’t understand why people get so offended and worked up about stuff, they’re trying to do something fun and nice, and yeah sure they’ll benefit from it as well but we all do when we work so why shouldn’t they...?

Bert2e · 05/05/2020 10:52

@doodleygirl I am very bored!

Sorry I was just asking if he was a qualified teacher - I didn't realise he was. I just thought it was a bit sexist otherwise,

scatteredglitter · 05/05/2020 10:55

I ve followed him a few years did one of his plans.
While I wouldn't always agree with him on his food advice etc. Even at my most cynical I actually really really like him, he seems like a genuine bloke, really positive and decent. He s worked hard to get where he is now, he s a really decent sort and I think he deserves this success. He had previously worked with lots of schools and done lots of PE stuff to get kids and adults moving and has done a lot to take exercise out of exclusive gyms and make it real and adaptable to people's homes and lives. He intertwines exercise as just part of everyone's day- like eating breakfast or brushing your teeth and not necessarily a luxury. Yes if you pay to his plans you get a bit more but he has provided so much free resources and positivity he really deserves credit for what he has done.
He s a good role model. I would prefer my kids to emulate his attitude and energy that that of the multitude of over paid soccer players and clubs that could just as easily have done something similar to lift their fans spirits and encourage health and positivity

Notredamn · 05/05/2020 10:59

It's only fuckin half hour!

MitziK · 05/05/2020 10:59

Probably keep them up until the early hours so they sleep later. It's not as if they have to get up at 6am to get the kids dressed and off to the childminder ready for the office at 9.

0utForAWalkBitch · 05/05/2020 11:01

@TotallyDevotedToYou why would you click onto a thread if you didn't know/care enough to google who Rosie and Joe are? If you didn't know, why would you then ask on the thread (apart from to show how highbrow you are perhaps?) instead of typing it into Google? This really grinds my gears.

And the people picking holes in his language, asking why he's called Rosie his 'Teaching Assistant'?? Really? Do you have a problem with taking everything too literally? Have you been diagnosed? Fuck me, man.

I dunno, I imagine they have probably chloroformed them (bleach and rubbing alcohol apparently according to a meme I saw yesterday) and locked them in the bedroom. That's what I'd do.

Keepgoing88 · 05/05/2020 11:06

100% nanny

Keepgoing88 · 05/05/2020 11:07

Nannies don't get enough credit
Nearly all celebs have them but would rather make it look like they do all the work themselves for the kids so they don't show them in the media etc much

Wolfiefan · 05/05/2020 11:08

They clearly crate the kids. Grin

scarbados · 05/05/2020 11:13

Who are Rosie and Joe? Should I care?

Bert2e · 05/05/2020 11:14

@scarbados no reason to care at all.

Woah @0utForAWalkBitch

Calm down dear.

scarbados · 05/05/2020 11:28

@Bert2e

Just as I thought. Smile

It’s true though @scarbados. It would take the same amount of time to type it into google as to ask on a thread - people do it to show how much they are “above” popular culture.

Like several PPs, I’ve never even seen this bloke and wouldn’t know him if I fell over him, yet I knew who the thread was referring to just by osmosis. Knowing about random crap in the outside world doesn’t make you a bad person.

SoupDragon · 05/05/2020 11:40

I just thought it was a bit sexist otherwise

How is it sexist at all? She's helping him do his video.

Tighnabruaich · 05/05/2020 11:44

Can parents not be away from children for 30 minutes? Could the children be in a playpen?
