Dream with me

If they suddenly announced that lockdown is off from
Tomorrow onwards, what’s would be your plans for the day?

I would go visit my mum and in laws and book a ticket to go see my I’ll father. And then I will go to the beach. And then if I still have energy left in me, I would also go to the library get as many books as possible so I can read them in case of a renewed lockdown. Argh if only.

Brunch and lots of lovely coffee.

Chilled stroll around the river, couple of pints in a sunny beer garden with friends. Maybe see Antebellum at the cinema which is released today.

Then out for a gorgeous 3 course meal at our favourite steak place.

Greenmarmalade · 22/04/2020 20:45

I’d get a babysitter!

BasilDiffuser · 22/04/2020 20:47

I would literally run to my sister’s house!

Aaaahhhndrea · 22/04/2020 20:47

I would rocket my darling children into some sort of childcare arrangement and run for the hills

BikeRunSki · 22/04/2020 20:50

I’d go and see my mum. She’s widowed, single, 75, shielding and 250 miles away!

goodthanks · 22/04/2020 20:56

Goodbye DDs, mummy is off to sit quietly in a dark room for a few hours.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 20:58

Pub.

SomeHalfHumanCreatureThing · 22/04/2020 20:58

Pub garden, specifically.

SpaceDinosaur · 22/04/2020 21:00

If there was a vaccination? if the danger had passed?

I'd go out for a walk. I'm pregnant and so shielding and I am desperate for a proper walk outside

Sittinonthefloor · 22/04/2020 21:00

Children to school, us to work. Normal. Visit parents at the weekend for a big family Sunday lunch.

Pinkandpurplehairedlady · 22/04/2020 21:00

I’d send the kids to their dads and then go out for coffee with my friends followed by a night of watching what I want to watch on TV. We’re currently staying with my ex MIL for lockdown and as much as I love her I can’t wait to get home.

Myownwendyhouse · 22/04/2020 21:01

Shopping to get some new summer clothes. My ones don’t fit now. And I’m getting hot sitting around in jogging bottoms outside

TigerDroveAgain · 22/04/2020 21:01

If it was Saturday not tomorrow it would be read the papers, go out for lunch, go to a football match, pick up the makings of dinner on the way home go to the pub for early doors

If tomorrow- everything apart from the football!

Onemorefuck · 22/04/2020 21:02

I’d go and visit my sis in law in Hospital.

On a happier note. Cinema and a beer garden

lachy · 22/04/2020 21:02

I'd be straight of to spend the day at a local spa. Not normally my thing, but I need a top to toe revamp.

Then once I feel human enough to face the world, I'd be off to see my mum and dad and my friends.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 22/04/2020 21:04

Ahh tomorrow I'm at work but if you can extend it to Friday:

Take my DD to Bluewater for breakfast , shopping, lunch, more shopping, into Waitrose , John Lewis .

Haircut

Laundrette to wash duvets and cotton flannel covet cover .

Rest Grin

ScrapThatThen · 22/04/2020 21:04

Well since I have the day off I would go for a run, go to the gym, have a cafe lunch there, go for a swim, jacuzzi and sauna and then have coffee and cake.

sleepwhenimred · 22/04/2020 21:05

Visit family, have a McDonald's breakfast which I almost never have but have been craving since lockdown. Definitely leave the kids with grandparents for some quality time whilst I merrily trot off to the cinema and coffee with my friends.

Small things I took for granted before that I am so craving now.

browzingss · 22/04/2020 21:06

Shallow but I’d definitely get my hair done ASAPGrin then visit all my loved ones and go to my favourite restaurant/bar, must book holidays too

Having said that though, today felt like lockdown was bloody over as there were so many people out, the roads were essentially back to rush hour trafficConfused

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 22/04/2020 21:06

Out for lunch. A stroll along the seafront first then lunch with a gin and tonic. Day off.

Then I'd go to M&S and buy bras and socks.

itsbetterthanabox · 22/04/2020 21:06

Go out with my friend and her daughter out for breakfast and go shopping. See my mum for a coffee.
Go out for dinner with friends and go to a comedy club then cocktails.

LaneBoy · 22/04/2020 21:07

I’d go for a swim followed by sitting in the steam room for a bit.
Then sit in a pub on my own with nice pub food and a giant cold glass of Pepsi Max (I only like it on tap, I really miss it!) and a book.
I’d delight in sending 12yo back to school - she’s coped pretty well but she really misses her friends and she’d be so happy to see them.
I’d arrange a meeting with my support worker as email isn’t really the same, and hope that I could get a therapy session in too.
Friends round in the evening for one of the takeaways that is currently closed. Just to completely undo all the benefits of the swim :o

itsbetterthanabox · 22/04/2020 21:07

Oo def a swim too!

CraftyGin · 22/04/2020 21:07

I would continue social distancing.

crankysaurus · 22/04/2020 21:08

I would go and give my friend a really big hug as it really sounds like she needs it.
