I’m writing this from my bed - DH is downstairs. We have a wingback chair on the upstairs landing and I can clearly somebody sitting in it. It goes away when I turn the light on. Would anybody like to see?

DH is non woo but he closes the hatch from the study into the kitchen at night when he’s on the computer in case he sees something in the kitchen!

DS said when I put him to bed “birdie friend says who is the man in the chair mummy?”

@bettybattenburg, it’s a supernaturally-possessed Welsh youth hostel badge (see photo above) owned by a three year old that communes with military ghosts and intermittently predicts apocalypse. A psychic submariner was apparently coming to exorcise it at one point.

I reckon at Armageddon, it’ll just be Birdie Friend left.
