Erm it's informative but quite tacky? Don't understand why they are still churning out plastic applicators when they used to be cardboard which is a bit more environmentally friendly. I use a cup now anyway

I don’t watch terrestrial TV with ads these days and had no idea that ads had become so crass and laddish. Makes you hanker after the good old days when a pretty lady fellated a Flake in her bathtub - at least the smut was implied rather than rubbed in your face.

Teenage boys will love copying the hand gestures and taunting girls when they think they have their period.

I saw it earlier and genuinely thought the ‘guest’ was Jazz Jennings and thought fuck me that’s going a bit far.

I saw it 3 times today, it actually made me cringe, I’m not bothered by many things but this just took the biscuit 😩

I thought it was both hilarious and naff beyond words, who ever wrote it was clearly taking some serious drugs..

This x100. I guess sales were low because women found them uncomfortable. If you need to create an eyebrow raising advert like that to explain how to use your product then maybe your product design needs looking at (most women know how to insert a fucking tampon - if it’s tricky for women to do then you’ve clearly designed it incorrectly )

I hate Tampax though they are u comfortable and I know some people need the plastic applicator but the waste is still shocking

I actually loved it! Normalising. Straightforward. Helpful.

I actually think it's great, makes it straightforward. I'm 36 and I've struggled for years with making them comfortable, wasn't pushing them up further enough it seems. Finally wearing them comfortably which is great as no sanitary towels in stock anyway here at the moment so a godsend

Are that many people unaware of how to correctly insert a tampon that they needed to make an ad about it. Or did they just know it would get attention

How about explaining how they work (they expand downwards so need to be inserted higher than you might think) and heres how the applicator works...
