Why are you awake?

Just that really.

Its 5.40am on Easter Saturday (If that's even a thing)

I'm currently shielding, so I'm waiting for a shop to go online at 6am so i can order some things i need...

I should of gone to sleep, and set my alarm for 6 but just kind of accidentally stayed awake.

What's everyone up to?

Oh gosh.

So many on this morning that i missed

Hope all the staff on the frontline had an ok shift as you possibly could of and had a good sleep today.
I hope tonight goes as smoothly as possible for you all

Do you suffer alot, i have little lock bags with ice in, they are soothing in a flannel behind your neck...

Because my neurodiverse son has turned nocturnal and will not go to sleep for love nor money. Dear Reader, I bribed him. No dice, he's up again. My neighbours are going to put a hit out on me at this rate.

Little boy stirred and I looked at the time on my phone and thought I'd try checking out on my Asda delivery again and there were 4 slots for a week's time- woo hoo!

Back to work tomorrow night or is that tonight. Been off for over 2 weeks and need to get back into the swing of things. Just done an online shop for asda, tried most of yesterday to get a slot.

Night feeds - DD (4 months) has been sleeping until 5/6 am but suddenly gone back to a 2:30 wake up so I've fed her and waiting for her to fall asleep so I can put her back in her basket and go to sleep myself. Picked the worst night - I'm officially knackered already😴

I'm trying to work out where I can buy dental wax locally. Chipped a tooth yesterday and my tongue is really sore from the sharp edge.

Also have a sore throat and earache and debating whether I can face trying to get through to a doctor for an appointment.

She's fallen asleep but I'm waiting to time it perfectly so she doesn't wake up on transfer to her bed - I'm struggling to stay awake tonight though

That sounds like a mission to transfer her! Nearly there. Fever was only on waking, pretty horrible feeling all sticky but it only lasted a minute and it's a cold night so back to normal now.

CuppaZa have you not been to sleep at all? Try to store away your worries for tonight and feel comfortable and cosy.
