Just that really.

Its 5.40am on Easter Saturday (If that's even a thing)

I'm currently shielding, so I'm waiting for a shop to go online at 6am so i can order some things i need...

I should of gone to sleep, and set my alarm for 6 but just kind of accidentally stayed awake.

What's everyone up to?

I fell asleep at 9, I don't sleep for long at any one time so I've been away since 1.30am Confused

motorcyclenumptiness · 18/04/2020 04:56

Because I share a house with a drunk. The birds are singing ... and so is he.

TwoHoots74 · 18/04/2020 04:59

Awake since 1:30 here too. My ex is snoring next to me. We decided to separate in January and had planned to sell the house in March. Covid put paid to that. We've a small 2 bed house so share a bed as sofa is small.

I'm digging up the patio tomorrow ready to bury the fucker!

yearinyearout · 18/04/2020 05:03

My dog has decided it's quite fun to get up in the night for no apparent reason. Let her out to give her the benefit of the doubt in case she needed a wee, but no, just fancied getting up. I've made her go back to bed but now I can't bloody sleep.

FingersXssd83 · 18/04/2020 05:14

20 weeks pregnant, isolated from husband and have two snoring dogs on my bed. Feeling anxious about work and my situation. No point in getting up so I'll keep on browsing until I feel tired then my pooches will get me up when they're hungry l!

EnglishRain · 18/04/2020 05:23

Nearly 27 weeks pregnant and feeling rough. Didn't feel right yesterday and snoozed from 8.30pm ish. Seem to have indigestion/IBS/heartburn/random pregnancy ailments and it doesn't feel like sleep is my friend at the moment.

GinnyStrupac · 18/04/2020 05:25

I am still up from yesterday morning with a DC. It's going to be a loooong day.

Fedhimtotigers · 18/04/2020 05:50

I can't wait till my kids are teenagers. I am going to take great delight in waking them up at the ass crack of dawn.

Cailleach · 18/04/2020 06:57

Been up since 3am wondering whether to give up my (much loved) job or risk going back.

middleager · 18/04/2020 07:10

Awake since 4.
Thinking about workloads, the virus, DH birthday today and the lack of cards/gifts.....

middleager · 18/04/2020 07:11

Cail whst line of work are you in?

tinatsarina · 18/04/2020 07:12

I'm awake now as my 7 week old is tossing and turning just after a feed, looks like she will be up soon. Was awake earlier worrying about returning to work as I don't want to. Crazy as I'm planning on taking 9 months off.

Cailleach · 18/04/2020 07:44

Warehouse - minimum wage.

I read through most of this overnight - I was up as my twins decided to play at tag team feeding from about 11:30pm (they only went to sleep about 8:30!!) and then, when changing his nappy because he had soaked through everything including his grobag, T2 decided to pee all over the bed; cue DH finding one of the spare duvets, getting the wet cover off the one on the bed and hanging the duvet over the banister to dry and putting clean duvet on bed. In amongst all that T2 decided it was the perfect time to wake up and play!! Daddy and both twins have slept during the day but poor mummy has had about 1 1/2 hours since 2am and won’t get the chance to rest until bedtime tonight!!

Now we have 2 duvets that will need to go to the laundrette when they finally open them as our washing machine is too small for a double duvet.

JustStayHome · 18/04/2020 22:23

@Rememberallball
I believe launderettes are still open!!

Hope your husband takes over tonight and you manage to get some sleep

Can anyone foresee a long night ahead?

I’m awake and can’t see sleep coming any time soon. My dd and her boyfriend are at home with me and it’s awful. I really believe she has some sort of personality disorder, I have to walk on eggshells with her, I never know what mood she will be in and has massive meltdowns , it makes my nerves bad . Her bf is a lazy pig , doesn’t lift a bloody finger but if I say anything, dd kicks off. So far I’ve done all the cooking and shopping and clearing up .
I’ve been ill in bed today ( sweats and ache all over ) not one of them has offered to even make me a drink .

I’m not cooking for them any more and they can do their own shopping. I’ve either been in tears or seething today .

JustStayHome · 19/04/2020 00:38

@Ipadipod
Thats really sad, im sorry your going through this 🍰💐

Ipadipod · 19/04/2020 00:47

Thank you for the sympathy, I’ve just read my post back and it makes me sound a bit pathetic!
I have cooked and shopped for them for the last 5 weeks , dd knows I am not well but hasn’t asked once if I’d like anything.

Her bf is useless, he thinks he’s helped if he takes his plate into the kitchen. He put the dishwasher on half empty with a bloody pile of (his) plates etc still needing to go in . I nearly hit the roof when he started flying his sodding drone in the lounge.

Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse · 19/04/2020 00:56

Cannot sleep. Day off and DC is actually asleep but for some reason I am not. Need to try as DC will be wide awake soon. Think I’ll have a nice cup of tea then try again.

JustStayHome · 19/04/2020 00:58

@Ipadipod
You don't sound pathetic.
Hope you feel better soon

@Ivalueloyaltyaboveallelse
