She spoke well and with the wisdom of someone who has seen a lot in her time. I know she isn't well liked on MN but I thought it was a good address to the nation.

I actually found it quite emotional which is not like me at all! It was the “We’ll meet again” that got me!

I wasn’t impressed. To be fair, I don’t know what else she could have said, but it was very bland.

I think it was measured and a good response to the current crisis. As above she spoke with wisdom and clarity

I didn’t like the we’ll meet again stuff. I thought that was some of the weaker stuff - many people will not meet again. I thought that was brushing off the seriousness of it all.

I doubt she wrote in the modern tropes.

I'd been dismissive earlier, but am now in bed poorly sobbing for DM who lives 120 miles away. I've not seen her in so long.

I watched it, was ok until I walked in to the kitchen and we'll meet again was playing on r2. Had that at my grandads funeral last year and now I'm in bits

Meh - made no difference to me - but cleary did to some...it a weird thing to pay someone to do a job and then be very grateful they do just that.

I like the queen, feel bizarrely a bit better now she's told us that it's all going to be ok
