We know about loo rolls- how much pasta fo you have?

Another thread is revealing how many loo rolls some of us have ferreted away, so I'm wondering about the great other british hoard item. PASTA. (And tinned tomatoes).

How much do you have?

I only go shopping once every 8 weeks and buy a whole carton of penne and one of spaghetti too so had done that. Unbeknown to me my mum had bought me 10 bags of pasta shells and 8 of spaghetti too. I have 5 bottles of passata about 8 tins of tomatoes and a tube of puree. Our pasta will last about 2 months

We have an enormous amount of spaghetti, accrued over the past 12 months (about 5 packets - we forget we have some and buy more). Getting to the last of a 3kg bag of penne so hoping that the supermarket will be stocking some more soon.

Enough spaghetti for one, possibly two meals (family of four) plus assorted pasta shapes that could add up to another meals worth.

We generally only eat pasta once a week at most. I had enough of it when DH and I were students...

I’ve got some open linguine, spaghetti and fusseli and macaroni. I also got a bag of penne today.
So we are now alright for a bit. I am a bit of a pasta obsessive/snob though.

I've got about 3kg left in a 5kg bag (I buy a 5kg bag every couple of months, bought one a couple of days before everyone started panic buying!), plus 3 bags of gluten free pasta - couldn't get any for ds, so set family looking, and had 4 bags the next day
I've got 2 cartons passata, and 3, maybe 4 tins chopped tomatoes. 1/2 tube puree.
I'll need more passata or tomatoes in about a fortnight, and should have enough pasta for a month ish.

The spaghetti jar is about half full, then there are about 4 part packets of different pasta shapes in the cupboard. There is also a kilo each of spaghetti and fusilli in the garage in the Brexit box.

One 500g bag. That will do DH and I three dinners with a wee bit left over and I'll buy more next time we shop.

I only have 4 tins of tomatoes-I usually have more as I use them a lot they'll do us about a week depending what we have.

Thankfully our local shops are pretty much back to normal stock so I'll get more whenever I next go.

Two bags of small soup pasta, three packs of spaghetti and about four packs of wholemeal fusilli because it's one of the things I forget I already have. Not now though, I have a list of what s in the cupboard

3 Kg of pasta twists (bought from DH's work place when they closed for the duration)

Down to 4 tins of tomatoes and three cartons of passatta (not happy with that, trying to get more.

Three coeliacs in the house and have no gluten-free pasta in. I think people who can eat gluten have been snapping it up.

We do have one pack of normal (gluten) spaghetti for the other two family members.

Whole sack of rice, thank goodness.

About 2kg Penne and a bit of tagliatelle

I think about 7 tins tomatoes and 2 big jars passata. DH bought some back in Feb before the issues and we already had some. We use a lot though as weaning the baby and she loves pasta and chilli con carne. I tend to make big batches too.

A couple of different bags. Don't eat it much.

Did a markses shop, this morning, and most of their pasta ready meals had a load at half price. I guess people are bored of pasta!

10x 500g bags. That’s 4 weeks worth for us normally. Bought at the end of January when we knew this was coming. I’m glad of it now as we’re on 2 week isolation. I plan to up pasta consumption while we can’t shop for fresh stuff.

Loads. We eat a lot of pasta and I was given loads of lovely fancy pasta (they laugh at me for needing the right shape for the right sauce) at Christmas/for my birthday by BIL and SIL. I have loads of soap too because word got out at Christmas that I really like nice soaps and I lot tonnes of the stuff!

I found a wholesaler. There seem to be a lot of places that were dealing with restaurants and are now selling to the public. So I got 2 3kg bags of pasta and 2 massive tins of chopped tomatoes to share with my family. It was about the same price as I'd pay in the supermarket. They delivered within two days.

I have about ten tins of chopped tomatoes as I buy them in boxes of 12 from Costco, forget I still have some and buy more.

We normally eat pasta four times a week. The last time is in Sainsburys about ten days ago I was asking after super noodles for my fussy asd son, the member if staff gave me the last 3kg bag of pasta he was about to put out. He said I probably needed it and I almost cried. Not much of that left but just found two packs of 20p Aldi dried spaghetti ( again I wanted to cry. I'm very easily pleased right now)

We have plenty of pasta because we have about 4 different types+lasagne as standard.
4 tins of tomatoes but we'd use that in a week ,3 Passata and 1 tube of tomato puree.
We are having butternut squash sauce and pesto with pasta to keep the tomato out but find alternatives for other meals(veggie) challenging.
I get any tomato tins/puree/Passata when I see it but this is infrequent.

I haven't bought any extra of anything, as we were told not to.
For 5 of us I have about 300g of macaroni which isn't enough for a meal, no other pasta. No chopped tomatoes, no tomato puree and no pasatta. Last went shopping 9 days ago and there was none to be had. Think I'll have to go again on Saturday so hoping shelves will be better than last week. Pasta/tomato is a staple in our house do we've been having to think outside the box just using what we have.
FWIW we have 8 toilet rolls left.

I normally buy two trays of tinned toms at Costco every 6 weeks or so and one of those massive bags of pasta plus about 6 spaghetti packs last about the same time.

I have plenty. I managed to get pasta easy last weekend.
