Be honest - how many toilet rolls in your house?

I realised today we have 18 toilet rolls in the cupboard. To be fair, I always have lots in for some reason. But a friend told me on the phone today, she now has......65. How about you?

25 at a guess.

concernedforthefuture · 02/04/2020 23:12

18 (2x packs of 9). Plus 1/2 one left on the holder.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 02/04/2020 23:14

One unopened pack of 12, two rolls in the bathroom basket, and a rogue pack of nine coconut flavoured rolls that were a substitute in a delivery a while back that we are too scared to use unless things get really desperate!

LilacTree1 · 02/04/2020 23:16

40

But that was prepping, not panic buying.

“ of nine coconut flavoured rolls ”

I did not know such a thing existed. 😱

Rockbird · 02/04/2020 23:17

About 60. Get them on Amazon subscribe and save and had a delivery not so long ago. It's a regular thing, I haven't bought any in the shops. We seem to get through quite a lot though so always have a decent supply.

PontiacBandit · 02/04/2020 23:17

I'm not sure, 40-50ish? I always bulk buy, usually get them from Costco twice a year. If I don't get them from there I always buy the largest pack, I'd rather get them every few months rather than every week. They live in the loft and under the bed.

London91 · 02/04/2020 23:21

About 20, maybe 25. But that's usual in my home.

Holdingmybreath · 02/04/2020 23:25

6,we started off pre panic with a goodly amount by pure luck and whenever we get low some seems to be available although last week I was eyeing up my old towels.

TumbleBingQuack · 02/04/2020 23:29

@SleepingMammoth thank you for explaining, I should probably have mentioned that in my first post Blush

We are only using them once, then chucking them in the nappy bin for washing after use.

Nappy bin is lined with a net bag so when ready for a wash the top gets tied and it all goes in the machine. No sorting through soiled wipes or nappies to wash.

InvisibleToEveryone · 02/04/2020 23:30

About 50??
Had a 24 pack, then split a Costco pack with DD.

But as a PP said with everyone here we are using more than normal.

Term time 24 would last about 3 weeks.

40.bought from Amazon before panic buying was a thing

OntheWaves40 · 02/04/2020 23:35

Just over 100.

bruce43mydog · 02/04/2020 23:36

16 from Costco

And 60 smaller ones from our local Shop

The smaller ones sound more than they are but you don't get a lot on the rolls

MrsPerfect12 · 02/04/2020 23:48

16 roughly bought 9 yest and 3 left in the pack plus one in each bathroom. This is when I'd normally buy. I don't leave it until I'm down to the last few rolls.

Oldhaggard · 02/04/2020 23:49

9, will buy a pack next time I'm lucky enough to be in the shop the same time the bog roll is, be that 2, 4 or 9 pack, whatever is available.
Went a week almost with none as shops I could access at times I could were constantly out of stock. Wasn't great. Bought 18, used 9 so far.

DramaAlpaca · 02/04/2020 23:51

Not sure exactly how many, but quite a lot. All bought when they were on special offer, before the panic buying started.

Luci459 · 02/04/2020 23:56

35

ChequerBoard · 02/04/2020 23:59

About 35, I'm also a 'who gives a crap' customer with a box subscription. My latest box arrived just as the panic buying of toilet rolls started. The delivery man rolled his eyes at me but I haven't bought one single extra roll that I would normally!

AnguaResurgam · 03/04/2020 00:07

Not sure

1x 18 pack unopened

5 (?) in use/on holders

pallisers · 03/04/2020 00:13

I think about 40. I haven't bought any for the past month. I usually have a lot in the house.

blibblibs · 03/04/2020 00:16

48, but that was brexit prep, haven't bought any for a couple of months except for the pack I bought at the beginning of the week for the food bank.

elp30 · 03/04/2020 00:17

8 but I can find toilet paper around where I live.
I'm more annoyed that I can't find paper towels or tampons. Confused
