Be honest - how many toilet rolls in your house?

I realised today we have 18 toilet rolls in the cupboard. To be fair, I always have lots in for some reason. But a friend told me on the phone today, she now has......65. How about you?

  1. Not been able to buy any in the shops so we've been using "family cloth" (already use cloth wipes / nappies) and saving the final loo roll for emergencies!
LER83 · 02/04/2020 22:40

About 20. Never normally have that many but a pack of 24 was literally all we could find! I gave 4 to my sister, and will keep her topped up!

We had a pack of 18, got another pack of 18 when we broke into the 1st one (as we always do: one to use and one for the cupboard) and then 4 more came with the Morrison's food box on Monday. We have about 30 left.

mooboy · 02/04/2020 22:40

Around 30 I think - not unusual for us.

PickAChew · 02/04/2020 22:41
  1. Had plenty before they disappeared and only use about 3 a week.
ArriettyJones · 02/04/2020 22:41

@YellowSlipper I had to track them all down from the different places I’d stashed them first, so it was a good hour’s worth of fun Grin

At least I didn’t have to panic buy or scout around different shops for ages when this all kicked off.

About 40.

I always keep my cupboard topped up & have done for the last few years.

WotnoPasta · 02/04/2020 22:43

About 16. Thousands in the supermarket today

As in a shared “family cloth” @TumbleBingQuack ?? Shock

Northernsoullover · 02/04/2020 22:45

About 35. Its not as many as some on here but its still a lot. I do stockpile but have done so for the last 14 years. Ever since we had 3 down with norovirus and I had just 2 bog rolls Sad

Ivebeentohellanditscalledikea · 02/04/2020 22:45

About 15

lyingwanker · 02/04/2020 22:46

About 12. I bought a pack of 16 just before lockdown. I think we normally go through 9 every 2-3 weeks.

Fiddlersgreen · 02/04/2020 22:47

I have a brand new 24 pack and one roll in use.
Always bought them in 24s and haven’t bought any since before the craziness began

Megan2018 · 02/04/2020 22:47

Unopened pack of 24 plus an open pack that at a guess has 8 left in, plus 3 in use in the loos. So roughly 32 rolls plus 3 in use.
All bought before the stock issues because I buy the big packs when on offer.

I’m not sorry.

I think we've got about 20? Probably a pack more than we'd normally have in the cupboard

cyclingmad · 02/04/2020 22:48

48 in total, one pack of 24 downstairs and one for upstairs cos I'm too lazy to go down to replenish the upstairs toilet Grin

Its only me in the house so I didnt feel the need to 'panic buy', probably last me 6months I reckon

TheThingWithFeathers · 02/04/2020 22:49

About 18. I had a big pack in my Brexit stash!

EmmaGrundyForPM · 02/04/2020 22:50

We haven't bought any since this started but we had a lot to start with due to prepping for Brexit. I think we've still got 2 x 9 roll packs unopened plus 3 or 4 left in an opened pack. If I can get some I'll put another 9 pack in my next supermarket order.

About half a big pack. 8?

Vinorosso74 · 02/04/2020 22:51
  1. We were down to 1 when all the panic buying started! Can't get pasta tho......
