(I appreciate some of you won't have the time for crafty stuff before anyone even bothers...)

I fancy trying something new but can't make up my mind - we do have a lot of varied craft supplies in the house already.

What are you making/doing at the mo? :)

I've stumbled across long forgotten (and half finished) cross stitches that I forgot about when we moved in.

I'm almost done on one, I have another one to finish then a new one to start :D

@lucysmam have you got any white wadding or fake fur if you can't find any felt.

I'm working on a baby blanket using the call the midwife pattern. Then I've got enough yarn for another large blanket plus we've got a family baby coming in the autumn so I'll knit some cardigans and hats. Then I want to make a couple of nativities using up all the odds and sods of yarn I've got lying around.

@TheWoollybacksWife I probably have some white wadding somewhere. I think it'd be in the airing cupboard if I do, so will look tomorrow now :)

I've just found a folder full of iron on embroidery patterns which were my Grandmother's and Great Aunt's. If I can find some suitable fabric, I think I'm going to try and make myself a crinoline lady or a jungle tree for the kids bedroom.

Also got about 3 different cross-stitches to finish (one of which I started over 20 years ago).

Then I want to make a quilt. My Grandmother (she of the iron on embroidery) taught me how to make my first when I was around 10 or so and given she died in March, I thought I'd make a memory quilt. I've got fabric of hers, some of my dad's shirts, some of the kids baby clothes etc.

Oh and ds says the Witch who lives in the dollshouse wants a quilt of her very own so I guess I need to make a tiny one.

Just need the motivation to actually start.

Knobbly Aldi have a needle punch kit going cheap. No idea if it is any good though! www.aldi.co.uk/so-crafty-punch-needle-kit/p/701196359710802

Dinosauratemydaffodils I had some inadvertent motivation this weekend. My internet went down Shock so was finishing off some kits and projects to keep myself occupied.

I've decided to reduce my online stuff and spend a bit of time each day finishing off all the projects I want to do. Outside of working hours, wfh right now.

Knobblybobbly · 16/04/2020 06:54

That looks lovely KatyMac. I've found some motivation and have almost finished making a rabbit (originally intended for Easter).

KatyMac · 17/04/2020 16:44

Handcrafting is pretty much my job at the moment. There seems to be a baby boom approaching with lots of baby announcement orders. Father's Day in a couple of months, so need to get my thinking cap on and design and prototype some bits - this is my favourite part as I love making, tinkering prototyping etc.

Currently toilet training DS so making him some gold stars to stick on his chart.

MinkowskisButterfly · 20/04/2020 13:01

I'm using a graphics tablet to draw colouring sheets for me and my littlest - I'm not great but it keeps us occupied!

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 20/04/2020 13:05

At the back I think Katymac.

I spent last night making hexagons for a quilt. So easy and therapeutic, right up until the point it reminded me of my Grandmother who showed me how to make them originally and who died in March.

KatyMac · 20/04/2020 13:34

Thanks @Dinosauratemydaffodils, are you OK?
