What disappointments have you faced today? (lighthearted)

Tonight i had a bath with a glass of wine and a bowl of peanuts. I knocked the peanuts into the bath and spent the rest of my time in the water fishing them out.

No 30th birthday party tonight 😭

Not enough chocolate

Somehow ended up on The Daily Mail website. I was disappointed in the content, the bullshit & myself for even going there!

No fruitybum, not quite desperate enough for that yet. Did consider the health benefits of washing the salt off though

We are stocked up for wine but chocolate is an issue

The pot noodle I bought for isolation treats has milk in it 😭

It was supposed to be my hen do this evening. Gin isn't helping.

My food shopping came but they didn't bring my crisps. Not even any substitutions.

But then I weighed myself and suddenly ok with having no crisps in the house.

The British Public and the Daily Mail are always disappointments, sadly 😕

Wewearpinkonwednesdays I had swine flu on my 28th birthday and gallstones on my 30th. I've given up on birthdays a bit. You shouldn't though, have a MEGA 30.5th birthday instead.

Our Chinese is shut RJ. I feel your pain 😕

Ok. We are now on to eating up the vegetarian party food left over from Christmas and trying to decide what film to watch. I hope you all have some lighthearted disappointments that you can smile about to offset the real ones or none of either.

@Artinsurance no, but had lots of messages from my hens which meant a lot. Made a nice meal with dp and tried not to dwell.

My favourite mug, which I have had for twenty years (!) has a big, leaking crack
In the great scheme of things it's not at all important but it made me sad.
