Tonight i had a bath with a glass of wine and a bowl of peanuts. I knocked the peanuts into the bath and spent the rest of my time in the water fishing them out.

Heartily disappointed. You?

The paintwork I painted today (which I hate doing) definitely needs another coat.
Wine is helping me feel better....

Ginkypig · 28/03/2020 21:05

My curry was a little on the watery side but I'm am confident that the Dahl and roti for tomorrow's lunch will be lovely!

The wine was good though. Grin

My new fitness regime i.e a daily walk is proving tricky due to the realisation that my knees are pretty much fucked.

ChakaDakotaRegina · 28/03/2020 21:07

Found a huge spider on my floor. A normal one though.
I’d just got comfortable with the threat of deadly arachnids in my home and will now be peeking around corners like a nosy neighbour again.

doodlejump1980 · 28/03/2020 21:11

No 40th birthday party for me tonight 😭 (that means I don’t turn 40 if I haven’t had my party right?!)

starrynight19 · 28/03/2020 21:16

What a rubbish time to have a special birthday or event planned Flowers and hugs for you all

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 28/03/2020 21:37

MuddyPuddlesAndPrettyBubbles that's the plan. Its keeping me going 😂

Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:43

Definitely not turning 40 Doodle, and don't let anyone tell you that you have Smile

Spiders in the house are good luck Chaka (unless you are in a place where they are poisonous)

Dodgy knees are a bit of a drawback but it's still good to try and do a bit.

Do you not find curries are better on the second day Ginky? Enjoy the rest of it tomorrow!

OP posts:
Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:48

It might definitely need another coat Mine but could you live with it? That is the question Smile

I think that's getting into the realms of a real disappointment Wise. Family heirloom.

No salt and vinegar (or any other) crisps at my local co-op today. Fancied a treat while I grabbed some staples. It's a travesty! Grin

BadDaughter01 · 28/03/2020 21:51

Ocado couldn't fulfill our order of a whole chicken. It was supposed to be roasted and cheer us up whilst in quarantine.

Collision · 28/03/2020 21:52

Poor DS (15y) loves the theatre.

He had tickets last Wednesday for Hamilton and was going again with DH today.
Dear Evan Hansen tickets, Waitress and Sunday in the Park with George.

He’s very disappointed.

Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:52

Not dwelling is a pretty good approach just now Delilah. Maybe you have your hen after the wedding. 🤗

OP posts:
Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:54

Complete travesty Life.

Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:55

Something to keep looking forward to Bad. Maybe next time?

Incacat2 · 28/03/2020 21:56

It was my 50th today. Bit of a letdown, as I'd have liked to go for a nice meal out and see my best friend, but I suppose I'll never forget it! I'm not one for big parties, anyway.

Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:56

That's a real disappointment Collision, and at that age, he will be devastated 🤗

OP posts:
delilahbucket · 28/03/2020 21:57

@Artinsurance that was the plan, but the longer it goes on the less likely it looks like our wedding will happen. It will probably be postponed until next year now 😥

Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 21:59

Well, as per pp, you can't be 50 yet Incacat - no party, no birthday!

Mehmehmeh19 · 28/03/2020 22:02

I made a curry for DH and I was under whelming. Made some nann bread was a faff also undef whelming.

Used far too much of our food supply on both of the above.

Also cracked open the peach gin I got for Mother's Day. It's mediocre at best.

Wanted to do jigsaw with DH he wasn't keen, disappointing!

Artinsurance · 28/03/2020 22:03

It will happen, just maybe not when you originally planned Delilah. Keep the faith. Biggest hugs 🤗
