Thought we could have a sort of pet diary thread, what they’re getting up to. With pics!

My old spaniel will be having a fairly quiet day but quite possibly a snack-filled one, as they have muck-spread the fields we walk through. It’s like a giant buffet for him

Dogs and their pics are getting me through is. My heart leaps a little with every picture....

@NotBeingFunnyOrAnything He's an English Springer/Kerry Blue terrier cross

He's a beaut - hopefully not as talkative as a schnauzer....

He doesn't stop barking, I think it's the terrier in him, he barked non-stop last night until DP lit the log burner. Then went and slept on the cool floorboards in front of the door as far away from the burner as he could get.

Sleeping on the heated blanket he seems to have pinched from me. It's his favourite thing.

Well, my maine coon got chased across the garden first thing this morning by a fox. We saw something darting out of the forest and it was actually the cat, hotly pursued by said fox. I think he maybe got too close to a den with cubs.

The cat is big but only young (just turned 1), so pretty inexperienced; I think it gave him a bit of a fright!

We now have to eat in the dining room..

Hyperactive, bitey foster cat has decided its time to move on. He’s put himself in his carrier and he’s ready to go. Unfortunately for him we’ve suspended adoptions for the foreseeable.

Much the same as every day....not a care in the world!

Cat has gone AWOL. Last time this happened she was shut in our shed and the time before shut in our attic so I'm a bit worried she's shut somewhere.

Cat has come back but is limping and hasn't eaten the tuna DS dropped on the floor. We will see how she is tomorrow.
