Bob Dylan. My dad is obsessed, saw him lots in the early days. He, and I will be gutted when he dies.

Paul Wellor, same reason but for my partner

MeatLoaf. Love him, his music. I’ll be so sad when he dies..

Just see your update. Bob Dylan?

RethpoDad · 20/02/2020 06:56

No, not Bob Dylan. Another Bob. He was on telly and used to be good looking.

CocoLoco87 · 20/02/2020 06:59

Anyone from the Britpop era. They've done ok so far but they're all about 15 years older than me so when they start dropping, i'll know my time is just around the corner.

PrettyyGood · 20/02/2020 07:30

God you bunch of weirdos. Some of these people are young. Just stop it. Ugh

TheMemoryLingers · 20/02/2020 07:31

'Dread' is too strong a word when talking about the death of someone who is a stranger to you. Of course, it's sad when a celebrity you like dies, particularly if they die in horrible circumstances, but a sense of perspective should be maintained.

So, although there are famous people I'd miss, I don't dread the death of anyone except my own family and friends.

CaptainMyCaptain · 20/02/2020 07:35

Bob Geldof?
Bob Hoskins?
Bob Hope - already dead.

This is bugging me now @RethpoDad what does your Bob do?

Medievalist · 20/02/2020 07:40

No, not Bob Marley. That other one called Bob.

You're dreading them dying but can't actually remember their name? ...

GarlicSoup · 20/02/2020 07:42

@RethpoDad.

Bob the Builder?

SalmonOfKnowledge · 20/02/2020 07:43

The Queen is the only older woman society is interested in so yes it will be v shocking when she dies. Other women of an age to die we wont have heard from them for years!

Oh actually, joan collins! I want to hear more from her right now!

SalmonOfKnowledge · 20/02/2020 07:44

@RuffleCrow they're my age!!

Poetryinaction · 20/02/2020 07:47

When David Attenborough dies, he will have reached a good age and led an extremely full and fulfilling life.
I am dreading his death as I feel uncomfortable around the public outoouring if grief. His life should be celebrated, he is amazing. But to die at an old age having done all he has. It's kind of the ideal way to go. Especially if he goes quickly with minimal suffering.
