Bob Dylan. My dad is obsessed, saw him lots in the early days. He, and I will be gutted when he dies.

Paul Wellor, same reason but for my partner

MeatLoaf. Love him, his music. I’ll be so sad when he dies..

Amy Lee. She's only seven years older than me so hopefully she's got a long way to go yet, (and there's always the chance I'll go first) but her music means so much to me I'm dreading it. (I once had a dream where she died and woke up crying, then checked the news to make sure it wasn't real, this was years ago when I was a teenager.)

theendoftheendoftheend · 20/02/2020 01:52

Joni Mitchell??

David A is old I have come to terms with that reality, it's the ones that blind sight you (CF for example, just didn't fit with the image, has caused so much turmoil)

Terry Wogan did it for me.

saraclara · 20/02/2020 02:01

Ruth Bader Ginsberg

HeronLanyon · 20/02/2020 02:06

The Queen - not a royalist but i think it will be a national shock when she goes. Has been a constant presence for so long etc.

David Attenborough. Beyond anyone else.

Time40 · 20/02/2020 02:31

The Queen and David Attenborough are going to cause massive national trauma. Let's hope they don't both die in the same week.

Michael Palin will be a bad one, too.

AlCalavicci · 20/02/2020 02:33

Sean Connery , David At , Micheal Cain , Helen Mirren Mick Jagger , Eric Clapton

HalfBloodPrincess · 20/02/2020 02:35

Bernard Cribbins. I love him, want him to be my grandad.

Squigean · 20/02/2020 02:40

David Attenborough.

(Also, not going to lie, there's a few names mentioned up thread and I didn't realise they were still alive!! How can that happen!)

Unsureconfused46 · 20/02/2020 02:43

Brian May
Bryan Ferry
Bradley Walsh
Phil Collins
John Cleese

Unsureconfused46 · 20/02/2020 02:44

I'm having a really emotional time at the moment and almost crying at this thread. I think it's time for me try and get some sleep!!

FET2020 · 20/02/2020 02:45

Bob Marley is already dead or am I not getting the weird joke? 😂

Torvean · 20/02/2020 02:46

The Queen

Julie Andrews

Doyoumind · 20/02/2020 02:53

Yep, this is a weird thread. I worry about family and friends dying. I don't concern myself with the potential deaths of people I don't know.

Casino218 · 20/02/2020 02:55

Michael Palin
David Attenborough
Ian mcKellen

Rockbird · 20/02/2020 02:56

Debbie Harry. I'll be inconsolable but it's fine because she's immortal.

And yes, the Queen I guess. The country is unsettled enough, and I think her passing will have a huge effect, more than you'd think.

Redglitter · 20/02/2020 04:06

@Unsureconfused46. Bradley Walsh?????? Seriously???

crazydiamond222 · 20/02/2020 04:18

It will be very sad when David Attenborough dies. On the date of his death I think we should have a new bank holiday to commerate him dedicated for people to get involved in enviromental projects.

ArriettyJones · 20/02/2020 04:22

Gosh. This is cheerful.

I wonder what it would feel like to find your own name on a thread like this?

It is like the flip slide of that horrible dead pool “game”.

CuriousCapricorn · 20/02/2020 04:25

For me it’s David Jason. Above any other famous person.

nameymcnamechangeagain · 20/02/2020 04:27

I have genuinely had an irrational fear of worrying about the death of David Jason for the 10+ years...my colleagues used to think I was odd. I’ve found my people!

TheoriginalLEM · 20/02/2020 04:50

They play dead pool bingo at work - some goid ideas on here! I have never, though, been able to bring myself to join and all of these would make me sad. Someone has already taken donald trump so I'll not bother Grin

GlummyMcGlummerson · 20/02/2020 04:57

The Queen. It will be a very sad day in the UK even if you're not a royalist.

Brian May

Elton John

MaxPaddyandHarry · 20/02/2020 05:15

The Queen. I am 68 and she became Queen when I was about 10 days old. She has always been there, whereas celebrities come and go.

redeyetonowheregood · 20/02/2020 05:18

Billy Joel
Bruce Springsteen
Sting
All because their music has meant so much to me and been part of my whole life.

The Queen for all the reasons mentioned already

Andahelterskelterroundmylittle · 20/02/2020 05:48

Only David Attenborough 😭
