Closed down or discontinued - what do you miss?

My local Oasis closed down before Christmas and I miss it so much! I've just been browsing their website and it's just not the same as seeing something on the hanger and thinking "ooh that's pretty!"
My favourite perfume and lipstick have been discontinued. I've been stockpiling thanks to ebay but they've been gone so long now I don't think I will get any more of either now. I won't look or smell the same soon Sad
What do you miss?
I fully expect this thread to be lots of people missing Woolworths and yes I still miss them too

Borders book stores. All those international magazines.

Lostchocs · 20/02/2020 17:17

That Brazil nut body scrub was the business.

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 20/02/2020 17:20

Tesco Keronics conditioner. It was only 80p a bottle and it suited my hair perfectly. It was getting harder and harder to get hold of so I stockpiled about 10 bottles and I am down to my last one which I save for special occasions.

Tesco Extracts Apple conditioner before they changed the formula and added silicones, thus making unsuitable for my hair.

Original Source Tea Tree and Mint conditioner. Poundshop staple which was perfect for co-washing as it was zingy and fresh and almost foamy like shampoo.

I basically miss conditioner! The woes of being a curly girl! Grin

I also miss Gap as it used to be before they all became outlets and their jeans were good quality

Girls (and boys) fear not. The founder of Crabtree and Evelyn started a new company 'Ortigia'. It has beautiful products. All made in Sicily and using local plants etc. Yes they sell glycerine soap in very nice fragrances.

I came across it before Christmas and bought soaps, a diffuser and a candle.

Julian Graves shops were alway good to browse in and they did an amaretto flavoured coffee which was amazing and I've never found one that tastes quite so nice!

scunner · 20/02/2020 19:27

Mothercare.
Can’t think of another store which can supply everything you need for babies without breaking the bank.

BikeRunSki · 20/02/2020 19:35

@scrunner I always found Mothercare to be the most expensive place for baby stuff!

PastramiAndRye · 20/02/2020 19:36

alltoomuchrightnow · 20/02/2020 20:09

Chambourcy yoghurts from the 80s...I crave the lemon ones!

Combos (the savoury snack) - used to be able to get them from the 24 hour garage opposite. Now can only get them when go to USA and even then can be hard to track down

Flex conditioner...It wasn't even that great.. I just miss the smell!

But my all time two misses... The Body Shop henna conditioner. Came in a tub and was messy as hell but nothing has ever beaten it. Used to sleep with it on overnight and then wash out. Nothing restored hair like it (especially 80s perms) or gave shine without the colouring of henna. Stopped it in the 90s, I was distraught. PK Elastizer doesn't even come close.

And a more recent one.... No7's Shine Free matte base (primer). They were going for over £100 on eBay and I could fully understand it.
