I have heard this before ,Its been doing the rounds for years ! Cant see how this could be true TBH! C and C would have had to be very young at the time .Also if he was born out of Wedlock would not be able to trump Wills !

CinderEmma · 28/01/2020 12:59

Imagine if this were true though!

CrunchySomething · 28/01/2020 13:00

The bloke has something wrong with him.

His eyes are brown, C & C both have blue eyes.

It's a story his grandmother told him as a child and he obviously has some mental issues and he's took it to heart.

CrunchySomething · 28/01/2020 13:01

He apparently thinks 'they' tampered with his eyes.

JaneJeffer · 28/01/2020 13:04

The eye colour means nothing.

mencken · 28/01/2020 13:08

nice try but as mentioned upthread, he was born years before they met.

same as the Prince Harry thing - Diana's affair with James Hewitt started two years after he was born. Ginger hair runs in the Spencer side.

TravellingWanabee · 28/01/2020 13:10

The eye colour means nothing.

In terms of genetics it does - I don't think 2 blue eyed parents could have a brown eyed child as they would both have to have 2 blue genes, which means they would each pass on one blue gene to the child, meaning he or she would automatically have blue eyes.

A brown eyed person can have a recessive blue gene (because brown is dominant), but not the other way around I don't think.

Although in this case, I think there are probably bigger reasons why the whole thing is unlikely!

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 28/01/2020 13:12

He apparently thinks 'they' tampered with his eyes.

Oh that’s quite sad actually, he’s clearly not well.

cheesenpickles · 28/01/2020 13:13

Haha! He HAD to be from Gosport Grin

CrunchySomething · 28/01/2020 13:14

Oh that’s quite sad actually, he’s clearly not well.

Yeah I agree. He needs help.

RedTartanLass · 28/01/2020 13:14

OMG just wasted almost an hour on his Facebook page. He's a very ill man.

It's a shame the media publish his stories and give him (in his head) gravitus.

He thinks the Royal Family are actually sending messages to him.

Thank goodness he's thousands of miles away. He must be a genuine security concern.

ConsolidateTheBiscuits · 28/01/2020 13:16

"He was adopted by his grandma Winifred, an employee of the Queen and Prince Philip. Mr Dorante-Day claims his grandma told him "many times" that he was "Charles and Camilla's child"

Well if he's to be believed then his "Grandma" is the Queen, or Camilla's mum. Who is he saying is his grandma?

Deadringer · 28/01/2020 13:17

I don't think he looks remotely like either of them. He sounds nuts.

JaneJeffer · 28/01/2020 13:17

I'm not a geneticist so I can't vouch for this. Lots of different eye colours in my family.

scarbados · 28/01/2020 13:19

@ AdachiOljulo - thank for this. I came in to post the same.

He has no claim to either financial inheritance or the throne because of the adoption. He has no legal ties with his birth family, whoever they were.

I worked for an adoption agency for the last 11 years of my working life. It meant that when we had a chancer contact us to say he was DH's half-brother, born and adopted when MIL was 16, I could let the family know that he was deluded and trying his luck. Didn't work! (Luckily we're not famous so the gutter press never got involved!)

scarbados · 28/01/2020 13:20

ConsolidateTheBiscuits - the mother of his adoptive mother.

SchadenfreudePersonified · 28/01/2020 13:21

As a young man he was rather too good-looking I would have thought, to be Charles' progeny.

Be brilliant if true.

ILoveYou3000 · 28/01/2020 13:23

@TravellingWanabee It is possible for two blue-eyed parents to have a brown-eyed child. Apparently two genes influence eye colour and those two genes need each other to work. Blue eyes mean either one or both of those genes are 'broken' as they control pigment. So, someone can carry the dominant brown trait but if either of the two genes are 'broken' they'll end up with blue eyes. They can then pass the dominant brown trait onto their offspring.

By all accounts this is extremely rare but it is possible.

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 28/01/2020 13:26

William was a very handsome young man.

81Byerley · 28/01/2020 13:27

@PGtipsplease No they went out together before she married.

JamieVardysHavingAParty · 28/01/2020 13:29

And to think MNers complain on here of their mothers and MILs filling their kids' heads with nonsense.

His mum: "well, my mother convinced my adopted son that he was really 2nd in line to the throne and he became totally obsessed with it".

I think this chap's mother has most of MN beat!

IcedPurple · 28/01/2020 13:33

William was a very handsome young man.

Only because he resembled his mother.

RustyBear · 28/01/2020 13:34

Even if his adoption hadn't ruled him out, and he was legitimised due to the subsequent marriage of his parents, the legitimisation rules exclude the inheritance of titles and the estates that go with them.

JamieVardysHavingAParty · 28/01/2020 13:35

Also, the lizard-people that control us told us to see him as handsome.

What? Why are you looking at me like that?

diddl · 28/01/2020 13:39

So if he was adopted by his GM, surely either her son is his dad or her daughter is his mother??
