What a lot of old cobblers

IcedPurple · 28/01/2020 12:18

Is this a proposed plot line for the upcoming 3rd season of "The Windsors"?

Clutterbugsmum · 28/01/2020 12:19

Prince Charles met Camilla in 1970/1971 so about 4 years AFTER this man was born.

Not to mention that he had this case has been thrown out of court 3 time already, so not sure any court would force anyone to take DNA's tests.

Adopted by his Grndma? Surely you don't mean the sainted QM, her of the " I can look the East End in the face now for the cameras, but lucky me I am wrapped up in my fur coat, have a car round the corner , a flunky queuing up in Fortnums for my sugar and butter ration and I am going home to my warm palace to tuck into a roast venison dinner with a gin chaser"

Can't see it myself.

My grandmother, who worked for the Queen, told me outright that I was Camilla and Charles’ son many times
My grandmother told me many times that she went to school with Captain Cook

doodlyfiddly · 28/01/2020 12:28

I used to work somewhere where we would get letters from 'Queen Valerie', reams and reams of paper. She claimed to be entitled to be the Queen of England through various means and that Elizabeth was a usurper. Genuinely bizarre, but very interesting to read! (I wish I'd kept copies!). I might try and google her.

inwood · 28/01/2020 12:28

This is hilarious. I'm no royalist but come on, get a grip mate.

ColaFreezePop · 28/01/2020 12:28

Now there are no Sussexes to put the boot into all cranks crawl out of the woodwork.

DowntownAbby · 28/01/2020 12:30

What's with the utter obsession with anything to do with the Royal Family on MN?

In real life I've never known anyone as much as mention them other than Queen's Speech, etc, but on here it's thread after thread after thread.

Bizarre.

ginginchinchin · 28/01/2020 12:34

I'm also a granny. I told my grandchildren I scored the winning goal in the 1966 World Cup Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/01/2020 12:38

I think he’s got mh issues, he thinks the authorities are watching him.

JaneJeffer · 28/01/2020 12:38

He does look a bit like his brothers Grin

If he knew his grandmother adopted him then it's not too far of a stretch to find out who one of his parents were. And if his grandmother hadn't given birth to either Charles or Camilla then, well, it's not them is it?

RuffleCrow · 28/01/2020 12:44

He does look the part!

In the younger photo he's got Camilla's horseyness (sorry) and that wide eyed look Charles had as a boy. And he looks quite D of E in that older photo.

EvilPea · 28/01/2020 12:44

Nope, too much hair now

Bluerussian · 28/01/2020 12:44

Oh such bollox. I wonder what tall tales will come up with next.

acatcalledjohn · 28/01/2020 12:44

He looks older than my mum who is early sixties, and she looks only marginally younger than her age.

Can you imagine it being true though? After the Prince Andrew and Harry & Meghan situations the press would love this!

IcedPurple · 28/01/2020 12:46

That's a hard 53. Looks a good 10 years older at the very least.

WheresMyChocolate · 28/01/2020 12:46

He has the family look. I do hope it's true. The royals soap opera has been a bit dull lately. A bit of drama should get it all going again.

2020bluegirl · 28/01/2020 12:48

53??? My DH is 53, and looks young enough to be this guy's son!

Rough life ... ?

And also, what a load of shit. Grin

Redrosesandsunsets · 28/01/2020 12:51

Sounds like Charlie’s and Camilla didn’t know each other back then.

FurrySlipperBoots · 28/01/2020 12:51

To be honest though, if Charles were your dad and Camilla were your mum, you wouldn't want to go round shouting about it would you? Confused

minou123 · 28/01/2020 12:55

I love this. Imagine the daily mail on 20 years time.......
"Footage of 1966 World Cup FAKE SHOCKER. Chinchin states that his granny scored the winning goal"

JuanSheetIsPlenty · 28/01/2020 12:55

Adopted by his grandmother- so Camillas mother? Grin

AdachiOljulo · 28/01/2020 12:58

given that Charles and Camilla are now married he could theoretically be retrospectively legitimised, if the DNA test proves his parentage. except that the legal process of adoption breaks all the legal ties between the child and the birth parents. so if he hadn't been adopted he might be in with a chance but having been adopted he is considered the child of his adoptive parent(s) for all purposes and no longer has any claim based on blood.
