What is the worst programme on TV?

I am off work at the moment and have seen some daytime TV.

I hereby declare that Loose Women is the most unwatchable drivel I've ever tried to endure, ever ever! I can tolerate Naked Attraction and Love Island so have a high pain threshold. But Loose Women - just NO!!!

Which TV programme makes you want to switch off in a hurry?

The One Show. It's inane drivel.

Ironfloor269 · 24/01/2020 18:22

Love Island
Best Home Cook

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 24/01/2020 18:23

Every soap
Pointless. Cant stand AA or RO
Anything with Keith Lemon in
Mrs Brown’s Boys.
Never seen Love Island and won’t start
I’m a Sleb
Anything with Ant and Dec in it
I’m sad to say that Death in Paradise is now officially dire. It was good when Kris Marshall was in it.
GMB because it has Piers Morgan.
Top Gear
Anything with Jeremy Clarkson.
Doctors
That dance thing on a Saturday

New browns boys. It’s that bad I don’t think I could be friends with anyone who watched it.

thesunwillout · 24/01/2020 18:26

The One Show

colouringinpro · 24/01/2020 18:28

Love Island
Naked Attraction
Mrs Brown's Boys

and

Topsy and Tim! That mum drives me insane with her happiness, patience and enthusiasm Grin

MrsMoggy · 24/01/2020 18:31

Blaze and the monster machines. But even worse is Biggleton on cbeebies. Creepy, pointless, faffing about largely in cardboard boxes for no reason. Winds me up as soon as it comes on

midsomermurderess · 24/01/2020 18:33

Love Island and/or Eastenders. So utterly depressing in their crudeness, such poverty of creative ambition.

Newmetoday · 24/01/2020 18:37

Strictly. Absolute shite

Luckystar777 · 24/01/2020 19:02

@Luckymama2014 nice name!

I have tried to like it but I just can't, I really really can't stand it, even the theme tune irritates me!

Uncooperativefingers · 24/01/2020 19:35

Mrs Brown's boys for being not funny, and immensely annoying
Love Island for it's vacuousness
Call the Midwife for being utterly wet
Anything Piers Morgan touches

TheDoctorDances · 24/01/2020 20:13

There's so much drivel and far too many repeats. I rarely watch broadcast TV and the telly licence is a rip-off. Dad's Army - On every Saturday night since the year dot.

Celebrity fundraising things like Children in Need. Tax dodging "celebs" begging me for my hard earned cash, no thanks.

Doyoumind · 24/01/2020 20:14

Mrs Brown's Boys.

PixieDustt · 24/01/2020 20:17

Peppa Bloody Pig! She is such a little bitch!

KnifeAngel · 24/01/2020 20:19

Lorraine. I find her one of the most annoying people ever. She is so rude to her guests and talks over them all. She must have big secrets about someone high up at ITV.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 24/01/2020 20:19

Mrs Brown's Boys
Naked Attraction.
Question Time has turned to absolute bollocks.

AmazingGreats · 24/01/2020 20:25

Jeremy Kyle. I have insomnia and used to channel flick at night (before I got an internet tv) and if it ever came on it felt like an assault on my ears and eyes. Fucking horrible man.

Now I can't stand loose women either. Or this morning. Or Lorraine.

Never watched love island but if it's anything me I'm a celebrity or big brother I'd probably hate it

AmazingGreats · 24/01/2020 20:26

If we are including children's programmes, though, it has to be Bing

Meruem · 24/01/2020 21:31

I genuinely do not understand why anyone goes on naked attraction. Why? Just why?

Deadringer · 24/01/2020 22:48

Father fucking Brown. My mum loves it (in her defense she is 93) the lead actor is so shit and annoying!

AgeLikeWine · 24/01/2020 22:55

Eastenders, no contest.

Why on earth anyone would want to watch such miserable, grim, depressing rubbish is completely beyond me.

Binterested · 24/01/2020 22:55

Death in Paradise because the actors are so clearly in it for the six weeks in the Caribbean. They can barely drag themselves away from their sunloungers in most scenes. And there’s always multiple hasbeens in every episode. It’s like watching pantomime in Rhyl but with a light reggae soundtrack.

cutietooties · 24/01/2020 22:56

Paw patrol Angry

tobee · 24/01/2020 23:08

According to a quick google 9 million people watched Mrs Browns Boys in 2017 and 4.6 million watched it on Christmas Day! ShockHmmConfusedSad

tobee · 24/01/2020 23:09

That should be Christmas Day 2019! So still very popular in this day and age of so many channels.
