I currently have a sausage casserole in the oven and the smell is making me hungry! Sausages with beans, tomatoes and winter vegetables, to be served with sides of cheesy mash and green beans.

What is everyone cooking tonight?

Cottage pie with broccoli and green beans, I’m also starving and can’t wait!

Halloumi burgers with curb on the cobs, new potatoes and coleslaw.

Ours will be a chicken stir fry, served with a large side of Sauvignon Blanc

Sunday roast - chicken, cauliflower, broccoli and mashed potatoes.

Not very original, sorry.

It was going to be turkey chilli but I'm lazy so it's the m&s curry meal deal instead. Chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, and tarka dahl from the 2 mains and 2 sides deal. I had poppadums, naan and rice in the cupboard. I also got lamb rogan josh in the deal which we will have later in the week.

Roast chicken new potatoes roasted in the pan, with lots of garlic, lemon and thyme. Cheese to follow and a nice Mosel Riesling I found in the Co-Op. we've just done a muddy 2 hour walk in the woods and I'm starving. Had to make emergency chocolate buns on return, or the kids would have eaten the cat.

Our main meal was at lunch time - roast chicken and blueberry cobbler.

A spicy sriracha crisp sandwich. When I can be bothered to get out of the bath.

Chicken & vegetable stir-fry for us, DS is having pasta w tomato and cheese earlier as I'll cook late because DP works this evening.

A glass or two of port.

Roast chicken , simple version without ALL the trimmings. My first home made lemon meringue pie, with soggy meringue (why????? 😥).

Chicken with a garlic chilli rub roasted with potatoes. Greens and veg on the side.
Might bake some kind of fruit upside cake for pudding.

Asian style pork belly with stir fried pak choi and jasmine rice. Can't wait :)

A slow cooked beef stew with roasties and green beans. I found some yorkies buried in the freezer so I'll shove those on.

Slow cooked chicken casserole, root vegetable mash and heaps of mixed steam vegetables.

One Mediterranean chicken & orzo. So simple to put together and smells delicious cooking away. Have also got a vegetable tagjne cooking away for later in the week. All the spices!
