We are just about to buy a new kitchen and trying to decide whether to get a dishwasher or not.
I've never had one before so do t know if I'd use it?
I've got a 1 year old so may be it will help free up
a few minutes every day?!

Yes!
You will never regret it.

mum2girls3 · 10/01/2020 20:40

Would never be without one !

WisestIsShe · 10/01/2020 20:40

It is the second best thing I ever bought. (Ddog was the best)
Lovely clean sparkly dishes and no effort. Saves time, saves water. What's not to love?
Seriously, get one. You will not regret it

God yes!

StayClassySally · 10/01/2020 20:41

Why would you not? I don't have one and constantly talk about getting one but we never do.

You're spending money on the kitchen anyway, may as well make it perfect.

GlendaSugarbeanIsJudgingYou · 10/01/2020 20:42

I got a dishwasher recently after 3 years without one (the dark days).

It's my favorite thing in the whole house and that's including my family.

Get one.

AfterSchoolWorry · 10/01/2020 20:42

Of course!

ParkheadParadise · 10/01/2020 20:43

Yes, get one
I wouldn't be without mine.

mrswaddo · 10/01/2020 20:44

It will simply change your life! Smile

DearTeddyRobinson · 10/01/2020 20:44

Do it. A dishwasher, or room for one, is a dealbreaker for me. You will never look back!

Figgygal · 10/01/2020 20:45

We had one in our old house for 10 years which barely got used not even once a month
Now that we have two kids and a machine which can do a half load I have to say are use it every week but at least once
It’s been out of action for the last month or so I need to get someone to look at it and over Christmas it was really frustrating

DickDewy · 10/01/2020 20:47

OMG - yes.

Can't imagine not having one - hell!

HotChocolatemarshmallows · 10/01/2020 20:48

Well that's a pretty resounding yes then! Will get one ordered 😁

OP posts:
sqirrelfriends · 10/01/2020 20:48

Yes, absolutely.

Couldn't be without mine.

Moviprep · 10/01/2020 20:48

It’s the best! You will never regret it.

We3kingsoforientareandabump · 10/01/2020 20:49

I didn't think of a dishwasher when we had the kitchen fitted and I regret that on a daily basis

homemadecommunistrussia · 10/01/2020 20:50

When I had two primary aged dc I calculated that we ( mostly me) spent nearly an hour each day washing up. What a waste of my valuable time! Get the dishwasher!
If I had room I would get a second one, so there would never be any dirty dishes on the side.

mummaaw · 10/01/2020 20:50

The dish washer is by far the best thing I've ever owned 😂

Soosiesoo · 10/01/2020 20:52

Absolutely the best thing ever!

Added bonus, now that I never wash up, is that my hands now resemble that of a 34 year old instead of a 94 year old Grin

Purpleartichoke · 10/01/2020 20:52

I can’t imagine not having one. I even put up with a tiny portable one when I lived in a place that I couldn’t have a full sized plumbed model.

ellenanora5 · 10/01/2020 20:56

I'd hate to be without mine, it's looking like a possibility though, it has a leak Sad.

Get one you won't regret it Smile

MeanwhileAtNumber98 · 10/01/2020 20:57

We moved house 3 months ago, we didn't have a dishwasher in our old house. There is one in the new house but I haven't used it yet! Everyone is telling me that it will life changing but I'm not convinced..

TheChosenTwo · 10/01/2020 20:59

Yes yes and thrice yes.
I would never not ever live without one again. I wash up nothing except chopping boards because they’re too big (well, I actually leave those to dp Grin ) and his special knives which again he washes up. Everything goes in, absolutely everything.

TeddyBeans · 10/01/2020 21:00

I don't have space in my new flat for a dishwasher 😭😭 it's been one of the most useful things I've had for the last year (damn my landlord for selling!!)

CharlotteMD · 10/01/2020 21:04

Dish washer is one of those things you don't know how you survive before you had one . Microwave , mobile phone , car , rampant rabbit, dish washer.
