One lady I think of often but unfortunately can't recall her posting name.

She had a very young dd and was 7 months pregnant with a second dd. She had a wonderful marriage and her DH had worked very hard to build a successful car business. (They were both early 30's I believe.)

DH was out in his works vehicle on business one day in August and another driver - I believe he was using his mobile and not paying attention to the road - smashed into DH and killed him outright. 😥. Poster was understandably devastated but so brave. Her DH had left everything in excellent order which meant poster was left financially very comfortable but could not envisage life without her beloved DH. Her baby was due end of October but she stopped posting shortly after the funeral and asked for the thread to be removed.

This all happened around 4 years ago and for some reason this thread always stuck with me. If you are still lurking, OP, or if anyone knows her, i really, really hope her dd was safely delivered and that they found a way forward as a family. It was so heartbreaking at the time and DEFINITELY not a troll.

There was the thread where the OPs husband held the family cat down and sprayed Dettol in its face. Part of me kind of hopes that was a troll, if it means that it didn't actually happen to some poor cat.

There was a poster on here recently called mummycubs who used to post stories about her large extended family, as well as her own experiences of raising six kids all under five. I remember she set up a thread with quotes from her family but MN pulled it, I assume because people started questioning the likelihood of being a single mum to six under 5 as well as everything else. MN just said they were having a look behind the scenes I think, as usual. I suppose it may have just been a troll but she was pretty remarkable if not! I keep wondering if it was all for real.

The lady who got offered a job that was then withdrawn when she told them she was pregnant. The company was a brother and sister and they seemed to have no clue about discrimination law. The OP got advice from pregnant and screwed (and MN posters) and was taking it to court. I'm sure her baby was due around now. I hope she won her case.

A very recent post from some one who got a good job offer after a long time searching but was expected to just drop her min wage job with no notice to start the new job.

What was the outcome ?

I'm not a troll thank you. Just because my life does not fit in neat box and because I had stuff going on. Does not make me a troll. My children are fine thank you.

@HappyHarlot The thread is here Job Offer withdrawn after informing employer that I'm pregnant but basically she's still waiting to hear re the tribunal and she's had the baby.

The OP who posted about her DP spraying dettol on the cat updated to say she had the op removed as a couple of tabloids ran the story and it was outing. The cat was fine and DP was staying with his mum.

I want to know what happened with the poster who's dog kept sniffing her DH on his abdomen. Still watching the post but OP never updated.

There was one several years ago where the poster (who had Lou in her username) got home to find her husband had left and taken masses of their stuff with him - down to the spices in the kitchen! She later found out she was pregnant. It went on for quite a while but then I lost track. I always wonder what happened and if she’s okay.

I'd love to know how jaysuswept was getting on, she had been sent a text accidentally from a (so called) friend that was meant for another saying that she had been flirting with her husband. The nutter of a friend managed to turn everyone against her and her ex bf stood up for her at the school gates and called the husband out on his wife's behaviour. I'd love to know if they all eventually saw threw the evil friend!

I’d love an update on the thread written by the pregnant lady who had a spare room in her home that she let her best friend stay in whenever she wanted and even gave her a key. Long story short, she told her friend she couldn’t stay anymore and she wanted her key back and needed to find alternative accommodation when she visits town. The friend ignored her and OP was so desperate she was even going to give her spare bed away for free but to avoid the friend staying there...from what I remember, the friend continued to stay though

The one where someone lived out in the sticks and was paranoid there were people stalking her home. There was talk they were trying to push them out of the house/village. Think the police were involved and she stopped posting. Often think about that one.

Wasn't there a thread around the same time as that one @curiousramshackle where the homeowner thought that people were having sex in the bushes...was that one ever concluded?

@curiousramshackle I’m sure earlier on in this thread, that story was confirmed as a troll.. the one with Christmas ornaments being left around?

That lamb neighbour thread from just today. I posted a thread to ask what happened and before I could read the answers MN deleted my TAAT and that's it. Still no sodding idea. Was it a troll thread? Identified thread? PBP??
