Just that really.

Mine is my fluffy throw for the sofa I’m currently snuggled up in and them cork heat stands you use to put hot pans and trays on from IKEA Grin

Salt lamps? Be careful if you have pets as they can be very tempting for them to lick ( animals love salt) several cases of animals getting salt poisoning Confused

My veneers. Had my front 4 teeth done which cost me £2.5k (had to work a lot of over time!) but it changed my looks and confidence. I always get compliments on my teeth Grin

Bean to cup coffee maker. Three years old now and I still look forward to my daily cup.

Was just coming to say this too. Would not have one for that reason.

Georgiemcgeorgeface · 01/01/2020 20:21

I love my salt lamps. My cats have never ever shown any interest in them whatsoever although I was aware of this risk and was vigilant when I first got them.
I've just bought a mini chopper and it's changed my life!

I'm sitting next to my salt lamp right now. It was packed away safely when I moved house and finally unpacked it yesterday. I'd forgotten how much I love the glow from it.

My favourite things in no particular order:

A washing up bowl with a plug, I used to spill water everywhere tipping out a regular basin because it was often too heavy for me so I'd drop it and cause a mini tsunami in the sink.

A pair of mini ornamental foo dogs which I bought for £5 in a charity shop and recently saw the same ones on eBay for around £100. I'd never sell them as I love them though.

Nintendo Switch. I play it as much as the kids do and I love that it can be handheld or hooked up to the TV so the kids can continue their game if I want to watch TV.

Metal shelf things which slide onto the kitchen shelves to give extra space underneath. I have one for baking trays and one for chopping boards.

Ikea Trofast unit for DD's bedroom. She has the one which looks like steps so as well as all the great storage she uses the short end as a bedside table.

Matching cutlery set (Viners Piccadilly). I got two sets so all the mismatched stuff was given away and it looks lovely in the cutlery drawer.

My cleaner"s work.
Thank you 🌸

Namestranger · 01/01/2020 20:43

My coffee machine. Only 40 quid, has a grinder and a timer so your fresh ground jug will be waiting for you when you wake up

MamaWeasel · 01/01/2020 20:44

Dishwasher, washing machine, new, decent mattress and overbed storage unit.

MotherHeggy · 01/01/2020 20:45

My salt lamps - I have two in the lounge and one in my bedroom (this one has a dimmer switch which is great)

My kindle paperwhite.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/01/2020 20:48

NameStranger - which coffee machine have you got, please?

BikeRunSki · 01/01/2020 20:50

Blundstone boots. I’ve worn them practically every day for 4 years, they go with everything, and they still polish up to look new. And they were half price!!

Gertie75 · 01/01/2020 20:53

PenguinsOnParade what games do you play on your Switch?
I use mine every day and want to get something new, at the moment I'm playing Splatoon 2 & Luigi's Mansion.
I'd like an adventure style game to keep me going until Breath of the Wild 2 is released.

OhTheTastyNuts · 01/01/2020 20:56

Ovulation sticks! Turns out I ovulate earlier than I thought. First smiley face I got helped me conceive DS1 after 18 months of trying

Namestranger · 01/01/2020 20:57

This one

I got it on sale but is still miles cheaper than most with a grinder.

Basdan · 01/01/2020 21:00

My Phillips lumea, best money I've ever spent. Go swimming regularly and I don't need to worry about shaving any more, priceless

PenguinsOnParade · 01/01/2020 21:00

@Gertie75 - it's been mostly Pokemon Let's Go Eevee, it's DD's game but just took me back to when I had the original game on the Game Boy. Been playing some Mario Kart too but I'm not as good as I used to be.

DD got Fire Emblem Three Houses for Christmas and I really want to give it a shot after watching her play, what I've seen so far it reminds me of Final Fantasy. She got Luigi's Mansion too but I don't think she's even opened that one yet.

tiredsleepysleep · 01/01/2020 21:01

A proper sellotape dispenser. The best 5 quid I've ever spent!

Every time I wrap a present I can't help but say to DH 'I'm so glad I bought this'!

It's the little things in life eh?! GrinGrin

cushioncovers · 01/01/2020 21:10

Electric blanket for my bed.

Goldwispa · 01/01/2020 21:13

What's an automatic litter tray? I might need one for my cat

Thefaceofboe · 01/01/2020 21:17

@OhTheTastyNuts aw amazing! I’m currently ttc and buy 50 for £5 every few months and they are a great buy Grin
