Mine is PRIME. I've used it for years for all the last minute deliveries. Over Christmas I got a delivery the same day and have loved having Prime Tv on our new smart tv and can carry on where i left off binge watching a series whilst on the treadmill. I've had some great viewing!

Ditto to Celtic house boots! Only I didn’t buy them - present from dh after I’d pointed him in the right direction.
Mine are the shorter ones. I live in them in winter.
And preferable to Uggs, since they’re made in Cornwall from U.K. sheepskin.

NemophilistRebel · 05/01/2020 08:52

Celtic house boots - as it’s has house in the name am I correct in assuming they are for indoors only?

QuillBill · 05/01/2020 08:57

Panasonic bread maker. I’ve had it for almost 20 years and I love not running out of bread.
Equafleece jumper for the dog. Keeps her cleaner in the winter.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 05/01/2020 09:05

No, Nemo, the soles are thinner than for their outdoor boots, but you can def. wear them out of doors - I often have. They’re unlike ordinary slippers in that respect. Esp. useful if you just have to nip out to the bins, etc. but I’ve worn mine for a walk to the shops and so on.

BikeRunSki · 05/01/2020 09:15

I agree with @GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER re Celt house boots. Great for popping out to the bins!!

TroysMammy · 05/01/2020 09:23

My cat
Greenhouse
Measuring spoons.

I've never heard of a long hot water bottle before but having Googled it I want one.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 05/01/2020 09:41

One thing I did buy was a revelation, for only about £7 - a little Good Grips (IIRC) gadget for zesting lemons and oranges. Not a thing I use often but makes it SO much less of a PITA.
Dh now more likely to get his favourite lemon meringue pie more often than just once a year on his birthday.

Lillybobtail · 06/01/2020 00:08

My car - now old and high mileage but still going strong
Stick blender - so useful
Marino wool top, so lovely and warm.
Decent kitchen knife
Guinea pigs - such big personalities.
My binoculars - they are a joy to use.

DumbledoresWhore · 06/01/2020 00:16

A Phillips electric epilator. Saved hundreds of pounds on waxing my legs. I have been using it for at least 5 years now. My best buy ever!

TwoZeroTwoZero · 06/01/2020 00:22

Throws for the settee

My camera and lenses

Thermal vests and long johns - I don't have to put the heating on in order to stay warm

Jaynie98 · 06/01/2020 00:29

My DSLR camera so I can capture high quality photos of my children ☺️

TitchyP · 06/01/2020 00:51

@sanmiguel we spent ages looking in showrooms but couldn't find much and ended up buying an ottoman base online. Perhaps not the most high quality bit of furniture but looks ok, was cheap as chips compared to some and does the job!

Somewhere like bedfactory or bedroom king or some such other online store!

colouringinpro · 06/01/2020 00:54

trampoline for the kids!

gets them out and active in the garden waaaaaay more than they would without it Smile

Eveting2019 · 06/01/2020 01:07

@Purpleartichoke i have just lost an hour watching videos about the Cameo machine! Looks amazing. I have no clue what I’d ever do with one but just so appeals to that younger me that thought I’d be some kind of artist, crafts person.
Can I ask, what do you use yours for mainly?

moonbells · 06/01/2020 08:22

An inter-rail ticket years ago. Travelling alone round Europe, not speaking most of the languages (and in a pre-smartphone era) taught me some valuable lessons in self-reliance, self-confidence and in the general niceness of people. (Also that there are huge swathes of alpine Europe I love). I came back a different person.

More recently, my coffee burr grinder! Grin

IpanemaGallina · 06/01/2020 11:07

@nearlynermal thanks, it is my little sanctuary from a busy household (teenagers) Wink

Excited101 · 06/01/2020 12:59

WiltedDaffs · 06/01/2020 15:34

My bike. Cycle to work every day and never been fitter.

sanmiguel · 07/01/2020 21:14

Cheers Titchy. @TitchyP
We have secured a ticket to a good night's sleep!!

Wauden · 07/01/2020 22:53

My MA, which was so helpful in finding a job and having the specialist knowledge and gives me more credibility.

ringletsandtwiglets · 07/01/2020 22:58

Oooh, @Excited101, I love hot chocolate but the £100 price for the velvetiser really put me off! Is it really worth it?

My Best Buy at the moment is probably my Hotter shoes. I have awful feet and got by with cheap wide fits from New Look etc, but now I never need to worry about sore, unsupported feet any more!

Excited101 · 07/01/2020 23:21

Well I love it ringlets though admittedly mine was a gift. They usually do a good amount back on topcashback (if you don’t have it already please let me know and I can send you a link, I think we both get a bonus!) it doesn’t make the hot chocolate quite as hot as I’d like but apparently that’s as to not singe the chocolate flavour... I’ve put not chocolate powders from whittards and other flaked hot chocolates too- just don’t put anything with bigger lumps in! If you love hot chocolate and you have the cash then go for it, I wouldn’t be without mine now and it works lovely with plant milks too! I had an entire hot chocolate of delicious foamy almond milk the other day!

pollywobble · 08/01/2020 02:17

Some Optinel knives! So sharp!
My old style water filled Chillow pillow was fantastic, I had for 8 years. Now the company has stopped trading and thin gel filled pillows, which warm up too quickly, are sold as Chillow

pollywobble · 08/01/2020 02:28

The best value for money in terms of price per use has to be the iPad, I use it every day to read books and news, play scrabble, listen to radio, mumsnet, watch tv. When I was ill andin bed for a few months last year it was fab

Oh and 2 Contigo spill proof, leak proof mugs, there's always one on the go-I wish they'd been around when my dd was a baby
