Just that really.

Mine is my fluffy throw for the sofa I’m currently snuggled up in and them cork heat stands you use to put hot pans and trays on from IKEA Grin

The house I truly couldn't afford and could genuinely never see how we would get rid of the mortgage, but we did and despite the fact that it needs work doing to it, it still gives me pleasure when I pull up outside and that is twenty years on.

CaptainPovey · 01/01/2020 15:43

For those with robot hoovers, which makes/models did you go for?

fairydustandpixies · 01/01/2020 15:45

My Ninja Foodi!!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/01/2020 15:48

Tadda - yes, it's lovely and calming. Feels a bit like having a small fire in the corner!

Northernsoullover · 01/01/2020 15:51

My Google thingy. I love music and podcasts and the radio and it does it all.

HarrietSchulenberg · 01/01/2020 15:54

A stupid dog.
Aproper sink plunger.
A decent car (decent for me, that is. It was second hand and 8 years old but I love it, even now it's 13).
A new orthopaedic mattress.

Agree my dog (rescue but yes we did donate) but in terms of actual "things":

Coffee machine, I'm addicted.

Dishwasher - love it so much after years of washing up, keeps kitchen so much tidier as well, just shove dishes in as you go along.

My beautiful massive scarf/pashmina thing, sooo cosy and still looks amazing years later.

My perfume collection on my lovely dresser. Just looking at both items gives me a little "aah" each morning.

thunderthighsohwoe · 01/01/2020 15:58

Snoozeshade and MyHummy white noise toy for DD
Gtech Pro vacuum cleaner
MacBook for evening work (I’m a teacher)
DriBuddi - although I’d much prefer a bigger house in which I could fit a tumblr dryer

Taddda · 01/01/2020 16:03

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie Sold! I'm getting two....planning on bringing in a bit of Zen to the front room- thanks!

(I'll answer the original thread question in a couple of days....Grin)

Deathraystare · 01/01/2020 16:04

A lovely big white towelling dressing gown - not one of those fleece things.

thunderthighsohwoe · 01/01/2020 16:04

Oh and the dishwasher. I actually think I’d sacrifice all of the above to be able to avoid washing up. 31 years of it was enough for me.

onyourway · 01/01/2020 16:08

My Aigle wellies, with Neoprene lining, so warm in winter.
And my Bose speaker, goes everywhere with me.

fastliving · 01/01/2020 16:09

Super king sized bed
Electric blanket
New sporty car - enjoy driving so much more and am not so tired after long journeys

Need to buy (after looking at everyone else's lists):
Automatic vacuum
Heated throw

WeshMaGueule · 01/01/2020 16:59

I'm hoping mine is my lumea that I bought myself and have only used once but maybe by the summer I will see the benefit.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/01/2020 17:51

You win, Welsh.

And Naomi's house comes second!

Chociefish · 01/01/2020 18:06

My horse. I bought her 26 years ago, she is my absolute rock.

NightsOfCabiria · 01/01/2020 18:11

My cat
An automatic litter tray
My car
Mac Book
iphone
My house
Mattress topper
Slow cooker
Scarper walking boots

Sunnysidegold · 01/01/2020 18:15

My home. I feel such a sense of calm coming home. Feel it's my little spot in the world.

Cordless hoover. Makes stairs a breeze. Saves so much time.

A silicone spatula. Scrapes bowls clean. Use it to scrape plates after meals. I hate the clatter with cutlery.

Off to look up salt lamps now...

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/01/2020 18:21
