The woodburner! We've had it for 10 years and my only regret is that we didn't get one 20 years earlier.
It's slashed our heating bills (we don't need to buy wood) and makes the living room cosy and welcoming - and very warm!

My Dyson cordless Hoover ! Life changing

Purpleartichoke · 01/01/2020 18:28

Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. So much easier to make my visions come to life. It’s exactly what I have wished for since I was about 10 years old.

Taddda · 01/01/2020 18:30

@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie oh that looks lovely!! (Adding extra one to bag....)-

I love that you've placed it next to the fireplace, it does give off that warming glow!

cricketmum84 · 01/01/2020 18:35

OP I see your fluffy throw... and I raise you an electric heated fluffy throw that I'm currently snuggled under. Why the hell have I never had one of these before?

Was a present from DH rather than something I have bought but it came out of our bank account so I think it still counts!

Online dating membership. Got a splendid husband and two kids out of it

Obviously the dog (twice the price of the coffee machine)

My house - I am so lucky to live in London

Thefaceofboe · 01/01/2020 18:48

@cricketmum84 until this thread I didn’t realise they existed Shock I’m so jealous and my throw all of a sudden seems rubbish...

I love salt lamps. I've bought them for friends as presents and gave DD one to take to Uni. They are so cosy and relaxing.
My best buys have definitely been, cordless vacuum cleaner, an amazing black Alexander McQueen dress that I got in the sale and will wear forever, a super king duvet on a king bed (no more battles for the covers) and SMOL dishwasher and washing machine tabs, which are free of nasty chemicals, get delivered monthly and do a cracking job. (I don't work for them before anyone asks!)

cricketmum84 · 01/01/2020 18:56

@Thefaceofboe mine is from Lidl. Bit cheaper than the Lakeland one if you like a bargain!

Thefaceofboe · 01/01/2020 19:05

@cricketmum84 thanks! I just looked on next and the one I like it £120, no taGrin I will have a look in the middle aisle next time I’m in

For those who said heated throw can you please recommend a good one. Just returned two 'dreamland' throws to Lakeland because they were just tepid.

Nextphonewontbesamsung · 01/01/2020 19:21

My Citroen C4 car. Second hand but less than 10,000 miles on the clock. It was written off in a hit and run a couple of years ago and I will never love another car like it Sad.

cricketmum84 · 01/01/2020 19:31

@PaulGalico honestly my lidl one is lovely and warm! It is hot on level 6 and I've had to turn it down a fair few times already Cos I was getting too hot!

This is mine: www.hotukdeals.com/deals/heated-blanket-lidl-3358605

Invisalign. Worth every penny.
