@RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie ha ha believe it.

Bath tray, ipad (in a waterproof cover) comfort pillow behind my neck, wine or coffee and a selection of snacks. I also have dimmer lights in the bathroom and jets in the bath. If your going to do it, do it right. Grin

Notthebloodygym · 03/01/2020 14:00

My magimix 5200, which I've had for more than 20 years.

TravellingSpoon · 03/01/2020 14:03

A hall light plug in thingie that I got from ebay for about £3. It has a sensor so only comes on when its dark but it means the kids can go to the loo at night.

Other than that, recently I got a hair drying towel from an add on Instagram and its fabulous. I thought it would be okay and didnt believe the hyped up advert but its brilliant, dries up my thick hair in a few minutes and its great for the gym.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2020 16:40

Sounds bloody brilliant, MrsT.

Yes to those sensor lights.

A quooker hot water tap !

concernedforthefuture · 04/01/2020 13:23

My Celtic house boots from Celtic and co. Really lovely sheepskin boot slippers with a solid sole. I've had them for about 4-5 years and they still have loads of life in them. They're expensive but top quality and cheaper overall than buying poorer quality slippers that need replacing every year.

nearlynermal · 04/01/2020 13:33

@IpanemaGallina that greenhouse sounds like heaven. Good for you!

ChristmasSweet · 04/01/2020 13:36

My car definitely.

I would say my horse but as he has cost me thousands in vet bills he wasn't a good choice. Grin He's lovely though, wouldn't get rid of him.

Taddda · 04/01/2020 13:37

Interested in the Celtic House boots! Currently looking at a pair of Ugg slippers but they sound quite similar (and tbh I can't really find the 'boot style' I want in them).
Ty!

BikeRunSki · 04/01/2020 14:46

My Celtic house boots are 8 years old, still going strong, and looked used but not abused. You can machine wash them too.

Taddda · 04/01/2020 15:23

Sold! Grin

Those who have super-king beds, do you have good access? Bed people talked us out of one saying no one can get them upstairs and we really wanted one 😭

NemophilistRebel · 04/01/2020 18:50

My mulberry handbag given am to me as a wedding present
I’ve used it every day and not taken perfect care but it is in perfect condition still

Also my divorce (prior to this marriage)

MegBusset · 04/01/2020 18:52

King-size bed with the world's firmest mattress. Closely followed by king-size electric blanket Grin

Twospaniels · 04/01/2020 18:53

Neoprene lined Le Chemeau welly boots. For years I have suffered cold feet in winter, but no longer. I spend a lot of time outdoors, dog walking and, horse riding, I just wouldn’t be without them now.

TitchyP · 05/01/2020 00:50

@sanmiguel

Our super king (ottoman) came in bits and we built in in the bedroom so no whole bed to be lugging about.
Mattress came rolled up and vacuum packed so no trouble with access at all...don't let that put you off!

Lovelydovey · 05/01/2020 00:55

We bought a self assembly super king bed - though the company we bought it from assembled it. And bought zip and link mattresses. All went up our narrow loft staircase without an issue.

SurfingApple · 05/01/2020 01:05

Our Superking bed was from Ikea and we built it in our bedroom. Mattress was Leesa mattress which comes vacuum packed in a box. It’s v heavy to get upstairs but space/access no issue.

Can you link to or share the name of the towel that dries hair really well please TravellingSpoon

Longdistance · 05/01/2020 01:17

After driving manual cars for the past 24 years I bought an automatic. It doesn’t even have the gears in the centre console, it’s a stick behind the steering wheel. Never again will I drive a manual car.

GetTheSprinkles · 05/01/2020 01:17

My Ugg slippers (so cosy)

MacBook Air (good as new 4 years on)

Super king Size Bed

L shaped sofa

Nespresso machine

Sleep By Me bed for my baby (although he's not a fan and would rather be in the bed)!

Netflix subscription

(Can I also go out on a limb and say... I don't really get the salt lamp obsession :/ )

Thelnebriati · 05/01/2020 01:22

Hands down my electric blanket and brushed cotton bedding, and the tumble dryer. I've never had one before because I was an idiot who thought drying laundry on the radiators was a good idea.

CallMeRachel · 05/01/2020 01:37

My dogs

sanmiguel · 05/01/2020 08:33

Thanks guys, really helpful re the Super king issue. We haven't bought yet so any recs? We want an ottoman type and a number 3 mattress.

sanmiguel · 05/01/2020 08:35

Thanks @TitchyP
Where did you get your super king? Have to say, we've found limited choice and when we did start showing interest in one, the shop guy out us off. Maybe he wasn't getting as much commission for that brand!!
