Couldn't see what's funny about it, gave up after 5 minutes.
Bit cringey

Have you ever watched it before?

CallmeAngelina · 25/12/2019 20:40

Have family here so will watch it later.
It's not meant to be laugh-out-loud funny. More subtle than that and you need to know the characters.
Have you watched it before?

iklboodolphrednosedreindeer · 25/12/2019 20:41

If you've never watched it before you won't get anything.

Sparklingbrook · 25/12/2019 20:41

I am cringing.

VanyaHargreeves · 25/12/2019 20:44

Give it a chance! Wowzers.

I proper laughed at Ness just then and now Dawn's appeared

I love Dawn

Horsemad · 25/12/2019 20:45

I'm not feeling it.

Sparklingbrook · 25/12/2019 20:45

I am trying, really I am.

Celebelly · 25/12/2019 20:45

I'm bloody loving it Grin SKRAGHEAD

Bluewavescrashing · 25/12/2019 20:46

Hoping it gets better... Really want to love this!

SouthWestmom · 25/12/2019 20:47

I'm bored now. Others are carrying on in the hope it revives. Feels like they are 'acting' all a bit forced

Sparklingbrook · 25/12/2019 20:47

Yes it does seem a bit forced.

beautifulstranger101 · 25/12/2019 20:48

I can't get into it- I have tried but I just don't find it funny

coconuttelegraph · 25/12/2019 20:48

Seems very much the same as the originals to me so far.

ssd · 25/12/2019 20:48

I hadn't seen it before and wanted to enjoy it, but it does seem forced. I was wanting it to be funny. But it's really not.

OP posts:
Celebelly · 25/12/2019 20:49

Yeah if you haven't seen it before then you won't get it, sorry!

Getoffmylilo · 25/12/2019 20:49

Loving it. Dawn!

AnyFucker · 25/12/2019 20:50

Aww, what has Julia Davis done to her face Sad

Celebelly · 25/12/2019 20:50

Dawn and Pete's duet GrinGrin Reminds me of his wedding vows

coconuttelegraph · 25/12/2019 20:50

Oh well if you're never seen it before you're never going to get it. It's not a standalone comedy.

VanyaHargreeves · 25/12/2019 20:50

Obviously a decades later reunion was never going to be quite the same, but I haven't sat here going :

"How shit"

It's perfectly alright.

Sparklingbrook · 25/12/2019 20:51

I have seen it before. Confused

ssd · 25/12/2019 20:51

Surely even if I haven't see it before I'd still like it if its funny?

It's cringey.

VanyaHargreeves · 25/12/2019 20:52

Nooooo OP

You absolutely need the entire backstory.

No wonder you don't find it funny 🤦‍♀️

twinnywinny14 · 25/12/2019 20:52

The extension at pam and mick’s is in the wrong place, otherwise it’s good so far!

SouthWestmom · 25/12/2019 20:52

No I think it's the characterisation and plot development people love. However I've watched them all and it's just a bit dull this time. Like someone else making a remake maybe.
