It is 4am. Why are you reading this?

I haven't been to bed. Fell asleep with the kids at bedtime for a few hours and now I'm not tired. I'll be wrecked tomorrow Xmas Confused

Ah @EnglishRain I remember that well. I devoured bowls of coco pops at 3am in the first trimester.

Just got back from work which was busy so struggling to wind down and go to sleep.

FromTheAllotment · 25/12/2019 04:21

DD woke up a while ago and complained of being itchy (she gets v v dry skin). Moisturised her, took her for a wee, tucked her back in. Pretty sure she’s asleep again but I lay awake listening to her fidget and now I’m wide awake Xmas Confused

TheOrigFV45 · 25/12/2019 04:21

I don't sleep well. Taken 1/2 small sleeping tab to take the edge off.

Selfcarequeereyestyle · 25/12/2019 04:25

My arsehole children woke at 3.30 to open their stockings! I have told them we will not be going downstairs until 6am at the earliest and they are trying to be quiet but I can’t get back to sleep. I didn’t fall asleep until12.30 so I am ruined.

MynameisJune · 25/12/2019 04:25

No idea, DD’s and DH are all sleeping and I’m wide awake

Peoplearemiserable · 25/12/2019 04:26

Got woken at 2am by poorly 18 month DS and haven’t fallen asleep yet. Excited and anxious about Christmas Day!

strawbmilk · 25/12/2019 04:26

Breastfeeding my 3 day old

fligglepige · 25/12/2019 04:27

Fell asleep on the sofa at 10 and woke up 20 mins ago. Now wrapping last of ds’s presents before getting another couple of hours sleep

Happy Xmas Xmas Smile

Bloodybridget · 25/12/2019 04:29

Always awake at some point in the night. DP and I are in a hotel so am more constrained than usual - can't put the light on or go to the kitchen for tea and toast! Sending warm Christmas wishes to all, and sympathy to those coping with wakeful DCs, pregnancy discomforts, illness, anxiety etc.

QueenOfCatan · 25/12/2019 04:30

Breastfeeding my 8mo who is being a mare. Can hear 3yo being resettled by DH in her room after he failed to resettle 8mo.

puds11 · 25/12/2019 04:32

5 month old has chosen tonight to wake up every hour and I have a head cold so bad I feel physically sick. Utterly fed up.

lilsquish · 25/12/2019 04:34

also bf 8 month old

happy Christmas everyone

CluelessNewMama · 25/12/2019 04:35

My 6 month old woke me up at 3:30 for a feed and has only just gone back to sleep in my arms. She’s only just started sleeping through in the last couple of weeks so I’m weirdly enjoying getting to have a bit of a cuddle tonight and just watch her sleep for a bit. I’m sure I’ll feel less enthusiastic about it tomorrow when I’m tired!

sashh · 25/12/2019 04:35

To open the sashh cafe for all your wonderful women, the coffee pot is dripping, the water for tea is mashing, I also have toast and as it's Xmas a free supply of batteries.

So what are your orders?

Juanbablo · 25/12/2019 04:36

I just remembered I hadn't taken the elf away and I needed to let the puppy out anyway so killed two birds with one stone.

Talia99 · 25/12/2019 04:36

Currently in NZ visiting relatives - 5.35 in the evening Christmas Day. Lying on the sofa with the windows open having spent the day by my sister’s swimming pool (back to the U.K. on Friday).

Namechangedtoprotect · 25/12/2019 04:37

I don't sleep through the night at the moment so wide awake after a few hours sleep. One child has just woken up to use the loo so I'm hoping he remembers the no stockings until daylight rule when he sees his. He's ten so hopefully can hold off his excitement as dh and my other ds are still asleep

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 25/12/2019 04:37

Just woke up for no reason. Going to get up soon and go for a run. I'm by myself so no Christmas obligations as such.

Bluewavescrashing · 25/12/2019 04:38

I always wake at this time of night with night sweats and chronic pain. Mainly on the soles of my feet tonight like I've walked a marathon. Cat is keeping me company though.

SoleBizzz · 25/12/2019 04:38

Fuck knows

WalkAwaySugarbear · 25/12/2019 04:38

I don't usually sleep well on xmas eve but I'm not as bothered this year, its prepping for jetlag, we fly in a few days time.

Namechangedtoprotect · 25/12/2019 04:39

In case you think I'm being mean, no stockings before daylight isn't unforced from about 6 as I'm an early riser. But this is too early to start the day, and dates back to the year when they wanted to open them at midnight!

Poppet1710 · 25/12/2019 04:39

8 week old is up for a feed. Surprised me by going 7 hours tonight between feeds. Maybe the start of longer stretches 🤞 DH is feeding whilst I express the next feed. My boobs certainly feel the longer stretch.
