What cheap processed foods do you love?

Inspired by another thread were people were discussing their love for Vienetta, I was thinking about cheap processed foods I love.

For me it's really cheap cheese and tomato pizza. The kind that costs a quid or less from a frozen food shop. You can see where the pizza sauce has been pipped on by a machine and the cheap cheese forms a solid layer that sometimes slides off when you cut into it. The main flavour is ground pepper.

I love them and I'd choose them over so called 'better' pizzas if I had a choice.

Processed chicken kievs

ReginaGeorgeous · 14/12/2019 19:11

Crisp sandwiches

MustardScreams · 14/12/2019 19:11

Idahoan cheese & bacon instant mash. No idea how they do it but it tastes like homemade mash and takes literal seconds,

Fray Bentos. Something about that tinned pastry that is so good.

Potato waffles covered in melted cheese.

Primula with prawns!

I love those pots of sandwich filler which are 90% mayonnaise, either the chicken and bacon or cheese and onion. On a cheap white baguette or bap with prawn cocktail crisps.

And chicken supernoodles, potato waffles, and cheap frozen mac n cheese ready meals

WwfLeopard · 14/12/2019 19:16

Cheese triangles 😍

workffs · 14/12/2019 19:16

I love a dirty cheap hotdog 🌭 ironically I wouldn't touch a 90% meat sausage

TheSilveryPussycat · 14/12/2019 19:17

Brains faggots are not what they were. These days they seem full of breadcrumbs.

Bacon Grill in a tin, when l can find it. Sliced, fried, and made into a sandwich.

Sweet32 · 14/12/2019 19:17

Richmond sausages. I know what's in them, I know how bad they are, but I luffs them.

Also a curry supernoodle sandwich on cheap white buttered bread. Chicken ones in a pinch if curry it unavailable

Witchinghour1 · 14/12/2019 19:24

Asda £1.15,,,I know this because I got some yesterday for DP...he loves the stuff. I get my revenge by squeezing half a tube of Primula cheese and chives on hot toast. Grin

Bobbybobbins · 14/12/2019 19:25

Definitely potato waffles
Hula hoops
Used to love tinned meatballs as a child but got some recently, opened the tin, and they smelt like dog food Sad

Bogrod · 14/12/2019 19:29

A golden syrup sandwich made with cheap white sliced bread and real butter.

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 14/12/2019 19:30

@Oswin farm foods have crispy pancakes - I love the minced beef ones with baked beans

My favourite processed food is farm foods mini corn dogs with bbq sauce to dip them in 😋

Pantalaimon88 · 14/12/2019 19:32

Pot noodle, chicken and mushroom is my flavour of choice. Not all the time but when I’m hungover, or just feeling a bit rough, absolutely nothing hits the spot quite like it.

Muddlingalongalone · 14/12/2019 19:34

Corned beef hash & Kraft cheese slices (not together 🤮)

bornonasunday · 14/12/2019 19:35

Oooh loads of stuff Blush

Brains faggots, marrowfat peas
Cheapest hot dog sausages with over-done onions
Heinz tinned spaghetti Bol - the only spag Bol I’ll eat
Heinz beans and little sausages
Cheese spread
Chicken and ham paste on cheap white sliced bread
Own brand cheese and onion crisps - better than Walkers!
Bacon frazzles, wotsits
Sweet Popcorn, cheaper the better
Own brand dark chocolate
Fray Bentos ‘steak and kidney’ pies
Tinned minced beef, ready made mash
99p pizza
Ready made sponge puds and custard
Tinned custard (straight from the tin sometimes😊)

Currently warming a tinned chicken curry to have with microwaved rice.... 😊

user1497207191 · 14/12/2019 19:36

McDonalds Fries
Jacobs cream crackers
Tinned corned beef (cheaper the better)

TheSubtleArt · 14/12/2019 19:39

Tinned hot dog sausages
Malt loaf & butter spread thickly
Monster munch

30daysoflight · 14/12/2019 19:40

Pek pork but has to be on good wholemeal bread with salted butter.

Heaviestdirtyestsoul · 14/12/2019 19:40

Naughty hot dogs in glass jars, I buy some every time I do a big shop- then eat them as I'm putting the shopping away. Dp says tinned ravioli- ugh! Tinned pasta loses its molecular integrity 😣

FloraGreysteel · 14/12/2019 19:41

Spam 😘

ginandbearit · 14/12/2019 19:41

Have got a stinking cold and am chilled to my bones...just had a pot noodle..now warm and glowing all through ..yum

shellysheridan · 14/12/2019 19:43

Bernard Matthews turkey drummers
Baked beans and sausages in a tin

bornonasunday · 14/12/2019 19:43

Another vote here for crisp sarnies on cheap white bread, also fish finger sarnies with tomato sauce again on cheap white bread
Corned beef
Tinned milk puds like rice, semolina etc - can be improved with bit of sugar and milk and baked... but divine cold & straight from the tin😉
Evaporated milk and tinned fruit... cheap own-brand mis-shapen peaches in particular
Also voting for own-brand biscuits... custard creams, gingers, bourbons etc

homemadecommunistrussia · 14/12/2019 19:44

Bombay Bad Boy
Waffle sandwich, salad cream on the side.
