I know there are plenty of threads on voting intentions but it makes me wonder how many of those people actually end up voting. So to those who have and don’t mind sharing ..who did you vote for and why?

I haven’t actually voted yet but I will be doing so this evening after work.

Labour. The polling station was the busiest I’ve ever seen it too.

ArlenesWoodBurningStove · 12/12/2019 11:32

@Newschapter, I think you need to move. Grin

Legomadx2 · 12/12/2019 11:32

Conservative because I studied history at school and know what happens when anti-Semitism is allowed to blossom

RuffleCrow · 12/12/2019 11:33

I voted for "whoever could give me a non-circular definition of the word woman".

ItIsWhatItIsInnit · 12/12/2019 11:35

Labour, would vote Green but they're not standing in my constituency.

It's a Conservative stronghold with LibDem flavours, but can't bring myself to vote LibDem!

AnnaForbes · 12/12/2019 11:37

Conservative.
Didn't want to but a labour government is unthinkable.

SunflowersNKittens · 12/12/2019 11:40

Conservative

smoooth · 12/12/2019 11:43

Conservative. Got there at 7:05 and there were 10 in front of me. Another woman there said she always votes at that time and it's usually empty.

AuntieMarys · 12/12/2019 11:45

Lib Dem. Safe Labour seat but big Jewish population.

IpanemaGallina · 12/12/2019 11:46

Lib dem

SpoonBlender · 12/12/2019 11:47

@Legomadx2 normal right-wing nationalism and isolationism is okay though? Righto.

Labour, as we're in a hopefully-marginal and it's the only chance to unseat our utter dogshit of a conservative MP who hates women, animals, poor people, the NHS and anyone not straight white male (by voting record).

WolfOfOdin · 12/12/2019 11:50

Me: Labour
DH: Conservative

Milicentbystander72 · 12/12/2019 11:51

Conservative - in a safe Labour seat.

The polling station was the busiest I've ever seen it though, and the weather is vile. I wonder if that means anything?

The only other time it's ever been relatively busy was during the Referendum.

AShaveAndAHarecutHalfPrice · 12/12/2019 11:51

There are rules and this thread will be pulled as you are not allowed to do polls while the polls are open, but SNP here for the first time in my life.

BearSoFair · 12/12/2019 11:51

Labour. We've been a safe Labour seat for as long as I can remember and the current MP is good. This time around she's also the only candidate who actually lives in the area. Haven't even seen campaigning from other parties, not so much as a leaflet through the door which has been a bit strange compared to usual.

SeaWitchly · 12/12/2019 11:52

Labour via proxy vote Smile

anxioussue · 12/12/2019 11:52

Very busy at 8am with young people queuing out the door including sixth formers voting for the first time on their way into college.

ChimpyChops · 12/12/2019 11:55

I'll be voting labour after work.

Hotpinkangel19 · 12/12/2019 12:03

Labour, but in a safe Tory seat, so pointless really.

Mistlewoeandwhine · 12/12/2019 12:04

Labour

Shesalittlemadam · 12/12/2019 12:06

How could ANYONE besides those with an ice cold stone for a heart, vote for Conservatives????

MyAuntyBadger · 12/12/2019 12:06

Conservative, in a very safe seat (good local MP).

rosie1959 · 12/12/2019 12:07

Conservative

bellinisurge · 12/12/2019 12:08

Spoiled my ballot.

goodluckdontdie · 12/12/2019 12:08

I'm kind of amazed that people vote on a "feeling" when they arrive at the polling station. Jesus.
