I've actually found chocolate that I really like.

I've found chocolate that tastes like chocolate. Not posh bars of thin stuff that are really unsatisfying and not things like Cadbury's that now have a waxy after finish , but properly chunky chocolate that tastes like it used to.

It's called Tony's chocolonely. Not sure about the name! But it's properly wrapped in paper and foil, doesn't seem to contain anything it shouldn't and it supports a campaign to end slavery in chocolate. Which is a pretty bloody good aim

I had the chocolate caramel sea salt and it was almost perfect. ( I just wish it could break into even chunks, rather than the creative design it has) I wish I'd bought some other flavours, but next time I'm in town I'll buy a different flavour for comparison.

I thought it was soapy and waxy. Sad times I erally wanted to like it.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/12/2019 13:48

:( Im so sad for those of you who don't like it. Your quest for chocolate perfection must continue, while mine is near done.

I looked for this chocolate in my local Sainsbury's but they didn't have it! Where else sells it? I want to try it!

I'm happy with Galaxy Kitten. Or Montezuma's for a special treat.

BooseysMom · 06/12/2019 14:54

Ooh you've made me crave chocolate now! You bad bad kitten!! Grin they look like a Wonka bar. Must hunt them down!

Nonotmenori · 06/12/2019 15:07

It's a miss from me. I reckon as it's recently getting listed by many big companies including wholesalers it'll soon been delisted. It's too expensive for what it is. Divine chocolate is just as charitable albeit cheaper.

SapatSea · 06/12/2019 15:31

I got the Dark Chocolate in the summer for my DP, he didn't like the thick chunkiness and the design which makes it hard to break off pieces, he thought it was a "cheap" bar of chocolate and much prefers his usual Green and Blacks 70percent.

I'm back on chocolate and think I'll give it another go with the Almond and Honey one.

Verite1 · 06/12/2019 16:56

Just bought 2 milk and 2 dark. So I hope I like it!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 07/12/2019 11:16

If anyone needs to send me unwanted bars, they are very welcome.

I love the dark chocolate and almond one even more than the salted caramel. It's yum!

MustBeDueSomeBetterFeet · 07/12/2019 13:48

Oooh, we're going to Efteling next week so I'm going to stock up!!

TriSkiRun99 · 08/12/2019 07:41

I’ve put a Sainsbury’s online order in just so I can try the chocolate Grin it was cheaper than driving 10m to the nearest one....hope it’s yum on Monday.

Axlcat · 08/12/2019 08:14

I felt exactly the same upon trying it. It’s like chocolate used to be. Another good one is Whittaker’s which sadly can only be got on New Zealand. If I’m lucky my colleague brings it once a year when she visits.

Verite1 · 08/12/2019 16:41

So dark chocolate and toffee pretzel is delish! Not tried others yet

OhYouBadBadKitten · 08/12/2019 20:56

That's hilarious Tri I feel an awful sense of responsibility now. What if you hate it? Shock

captainprincess · 09/12/2019 12:49

This is the best chocolate ever and I would happily pay significantly more than £3.50 for a big bar!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/12/2019 13:34

No pressure then Tri Shock

That's quite an accolade CaptainPrincess

JoyceJames · 09/12/2019 15:41

Aldi moser Roth 70% and also their almond and the orange bars are nice. Also I like the 85%, though not everyone would.

Nonotmenori · 09/12/2019 15:53

Ah bad kitten I'd have sent you a box a few weeks ago had I'd known!

Biscuitsandteaplease · 09/12/2019 16:36

I also love this enormously!!

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/12/2019 21:57

That's a lovely thought Nonotmeori :)
