Which one do you prefer?

It’s The Chase for me.

Pointless, until they have a sports round and then we switch over to The Chase!

Simonsaysitschristmas · 11/11/2019 17:44

I think I prefer The Chase when it’s normal people but Pointless when it’s celebrities

formerbabe · 11/11/2019 17:45

The chase

Justmuddlingalong · 11/11/2019 17:47

The Chase. Alexander Armstrong's goobye minus the d at the end of every show gave me the pip, so I stopped watching it. Life's too short. 🤯

Timetobegood · 11/11/2019 17:47

Yes I do like Pointless Celebrities on a Saturday.

Pointless

TheMarzipanDildo · 11/11/2019 17:48

Pointless.
Which is the right answer Wink

MyGoodTimes · 11/11/2019 17:49

The Chase.

TheMarzipanDildo · 11/11/2019 17:49

I think pointless feels more classy for some reason-might be the low prize money.

SpiderCharlotte · 11/11/2019 17:49

The Chase!

AShaveAndAHarecutHalfPrice · 11/11/2019 17:49

Pointless. I love Richard Osman.

pemberleypearl · 11/11/2019 17:50

Can't stand Pointless but love The Chase! Kind of sad it's going off air for a little while now.

Angie6868 · 11/11/2019 17:50

The Chase. Can't stand Pointless

RedRec · 11/11/2019 17:51

The Chase.
The chatter between 'Xander' (barf) and Richard is painful and Xander seems to have a poker up his arse. "Thank you very much indeed, Richard". Repeat ad nauseum.

ComfortablyGlum · 11/11/2019 17:52

Pointless is a great game ruined by Armstrong’s weapons grade level of faffery.

The show could easily be 30 minutes if we were spared his inane waffling. I like Richard’s little facts but ‘Xander’ drives me round the twist - from the insufferable faffing to his horrid little pinky ring -this means I’m usually on The Chase 😏

PorridgeAgainAbney · 11/11/2019 17:52

We tend to have one on for a couple of months then swap to the other so we never get bored. DS also now loves Richard Osman's House of Games so we have that before bedtime too.

Myimaginarycathasfleas · 11/11/2019 17:53

Neither. The Wall. (Till I get bored with that one too)

youngestisapsycho · 11/11/2019 17:53

Both. Pointless and then The Chase on the +1 channel

safariboot · 11/11/2019 18:30

Neither. Tipping Point on +1.

I don't really like gameshows that usually end with nobody winning anything.

TooMuch87 · 11/11/2019 18:46

The Chase. 100%.

I really like the idea of Pointless. Finding the most obscure answers is more interesting on paper than the correct or incorrect answers on The Chase. But The Chase is fast paced and exciting. The format is good, The Chasers are likeable and Bradley is a good host.

The problem with Pointless is that there's too much empty space filled with chat. And the banter with Richard and Alexander gets annoying after a while. It would be better if they cut the show to 30 minutes, or had five pairs of contestants (like they did when the show started). I occasionally watch Pointless on iPlayer and if you fast forward through all the filler, you can watch the whole thing in 10 minutes.

marvellousnightforamooncup · 11/11/2019 20:11

The Chase.

IWorkAtTheCheescakeFactory · 11/11/2019 20:14

I’d never watched pointless until this evening when I was in the GP waiting room and it was on. I’m still trying to fathom how anyone can manage to get through a whole episode without falling into a coma! What a mind numbingly dull show.

The chase- watch it every day and love it.

greenlavender · 11/11/2019 20:43

Pointless. I don't like The Chase very much.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 11/11/2019 20:44

Pointless, of the two, but I've recently discovered Head Hunters and have binge watched it on iPlayer over the last week.

OMGicantbelieveeit · 11/11/2019 20:45

Pointless
